I don't know why you refer everything as good for parts??? That little car is rare and body complete, rebuild the engine, you have a numbers matching car that interior is the easy part. After all the hard work you have a $$$ vehicle make for a great eye catcher!

At 6:30 between the dump trailer and convertible that thing is a hay bale grab. It mounts on a loader tractor instead of the bucket. Picks up small square bales in a group

I like that 66 Fairlane. It doesn't look like it would be too bad to rebuild. The 500 XL model had the same interior as the GT. I'd probably do it as a 427 XL clone. You're right about that dash panel. Ive got a buddy who's been looking for a radio / heater delete panel for years to use on his race car. He's never come across one.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the 2 ton Dodge grain truck, 318 has distributor at the back. 400, 440 had the distributor at the from of the engine like this one. (Although by then, the horsepower will be super low.) The Ford cars were neat. The 64 convertible I imagine the floors were gone? We had a 4dr like that. Thanks for the tour and upload, Tim.

This is really farm, territory and farm people. The tractors sold quite well. A question: Are those people leading the auction Mennonites? I had some contact with Amish people while travelling the USA and once I ended up in a town where people were extremely reserved and seemed to be happy when I disapeared with my family in my 63 Impala. They had a motel there but it seems they did not like "secualar" people around.
@mr.goodpliers6988Ай бұрын
Yes, the auction company is Amish people
@beatglauser9444Ай бұрын
@@mr.goodpliers6988 Thanks for answering me. The origin of the Amish is only 25 miles away from my place. Me and some Amish tried to find out if they could stll understand my Bernese dialect. They could not. But they were very interested in it. The origin of Pennsylvaina Dutch is mainly my dialect mixed with some German. Dütsch is German and not Dutch in my local language.

Just watched your video of your buddy buying the Burned up 68 GTO & driving it away from your house 3 days later, & the end of his video getting home with it. I was born in 1957, my first car was a 67 Mustang bought used with a 3 speed floor shift & a 6 cylinder. Always loved the cars from my generation, but as an old timer, I never quite understood a mans need to burn rubber, putting that kind of pressure/strain on the entire car, just to see a little smoke, especially doing it to a 68 GTO that he just brought back from the dead & drove home. #SelfAbuse
