I’ve got two corn piles, one is a grain ring manufactured by Behlin its capacity is 32,000 bushel. The other is stacked concrete wasting blocks, last year that fell over, this year we supported it with wasting blocks stacked on the outside. It also holds 32,000 bushel. We confine it because of our high deer population in southwest Nebraska, any spilled grain is quickly consumed. We fill the grain bins first and then put it on the ground. The gentlemen didn’t mention ease of loading, I use my wheel loader to load trucks and can load a truck with 12 scoops.
