I love how you throw stuff together...Creative. Please keep showing your fails too! Those pallets slipping off the dump cart made me realize I'm not the only guy that does stuff like that...got a chuckle. Oh, your scrap wood area needs some serious organization. Just because its scrap, don't mean its crap! ;) Well done ARMY!

The rain finally let up here in the Hocking Hills of Ohio and I went out and marked some Maple trees today! You inspired me to go out and just do it! I watched you last year going in the kayak from tree to tree and figured if you could do that I can certainly do it! Thanks for sharing .

used this type of idea for a calf shelter, put it on 6x6's and a tin roof works great. we get a pretty good snow load in Northern Alberta and no problems next is a PVC Greenhouse in the spring

I like the forks on the tractor. I told my husband the other day we needed some forks on ours. We buy the 200 lb. Protein tubs for the cows and put them in the pick up. Little tricky getting them out. Great job on the pig shed.

I think once you are done with the pallet framing, you should sheath the entire outside structure in metal with the rubber washer screws, then back fill in the sides ? I bet they would last 50 yrs. Also, you can never have enough overhang. Great build and thumbs up !
@jezebelmarion6 жыл бұрын
I think the idea was to make the shelter to free of at least minimal cost. Cladding in metal would probably be expensive

You might want to think of ballast box or chains or load your back tires with chloride! Make that loader work a lot easier? It's not very expensive.

I thought you said in another video it was good to put your sheltet next to your fence with a door on the back
@SSLFamilyDad6 жыл бұрын
You are correct! However I went back and forth before deciding to out them 12 feet off the fence. One reason was I was looking for a high spot that doesn't flood, also, I have learned that I don't really need to go into the shelter much as I feed and water the animals at the fence
