I do bring the kids in if they kid in the pasture. one question, what is that white stuff out in the pasture?? we don't get that stuff very much in SC. we have big PVC pipe cut in half for feeding. Hey Just curious you have a small farm what to you use to keep records? Spreadsheet quickbooks or what. i am just starting, At first i was using excel but did not generate profit and loss statements that easy so giving quick books a try. Just wondering what everyone uses and if there is something better. great video
@SawyerRidgeFarm4 жыл бұрын
I honestly use the old fashioned way. I was having the same problem trying to figure out the best way to keep records. I remember asking around also, but then I just found out that getting a 3 ring binder and making separate tabs for each kind of animal was just as efficient. I have tabs for each kind of animal and also keep tabs for farm income and expenses (for tax reasons). I know this might not be much help, but that’s the way that I do it.

Our fencing is 4” X 4”. Our big goats can not fit there heads through that. When we have kids they go through a stage where they will get stuck, but they quickly grow out of that.
