Remembering that in PT, if a piece of land is located in the REN (national ecological reserve) or RAN (national agricultural reserve) zone and does not have a house, which may be in ruins, it is impossible to build something new. I advise you to consult the City Council (Câmara Municipal) to find out if it is possible to detach part of the land from rustic to urban and so it is already possible to build.
@OKportugal3 жыл бұрын
Yes excellent advice for anyone interested in this piece of land.

High quality cork can be sold by more than 30€/15Kg, in Alentejo it can reach 200€/cork oak. You can also sell the acorns up to 2€/Kg. Maybe you don't know, but cork is considered the portuguese "oil", and Portugal produces more than 50% of the world's total production. Every single NASA spaceship has heat insulation made of portuguese high quality cork. Cork began to be incorporated in aerospace projects as part of the North American space programme, with the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon, in the late 1960s. Since then Corticeira Amorim has continued to produce compounds for the aerospace industry. One of the most recent projects is use of cork in the European Space Agency's IXV mission and integration of this material into a probe that will be sent to Mars.

lovely property, very "rustic" area... pumping water up shouldn't be a problem... small windmill with a ram-pump and a cistern at the top with an overflow... everytime there is wind (should be often enough) it will fill up, and if too much then it will dribble out and you could use that to irrigate a garden area. it's very "low power" with such a pump compared to an electric one, of course it takes a while when the cistern is fully empty, but have it big enough and let it fill up before you begin to drain it, then you should be fine on water

Most I have seen on KZbin that don’t have a zoning of registration of habitation ie pple lived in it pre 1951 at council you can build/restore and add on if it was registered as a live in farmhouse as to your question it has to be a movable structure or demountable ie yurt so caravan would be perfect , most can’t stand the heat in summer and cold in winter a lot of ruins are classified agriculture for storing grain hay or animals , I have seen some that have a kitchenette table but no sleeping arrange ment but no toilet etc
