Finish Singularity and give it another try. Or at least finish another main quest and give it a try. ✅If you’re still getting stuck trying to get out the gate, it’s likely because you didn’t get Aloy to phase down through the gate properly or you tried to stand up inside the gate. Do not stand up after Aloy phases down through the gate. ✅When trying to get Aloy to phase down through the horizontal log on the gate, remember she needs to climb up on her own. Also, you should nudge the left stick forward/tap forward on keyboard to try to get her to phase through as far forward/into the gate as possible. It can take a few tries to get her to phase through properly. ✅On PS5, make sure your graphics setting is "performance mode". Players have reported that slipping through the gaps is much more difficult on resolution and balanced modes. ✅If you haven't completed the Singularly main quest yet, you will likely run into an invisible wall inside the Memorial Grove just before you get to the throne room. You can super glide over this if you don't want to wait to finish Wings Of The Ten. It's a common mistake to take items out of the stash instead of putting them in. ✅Another common mistake is marking a bunch of items and then hitting down on the d-pad to go to the next tab of the inventory. If you do this, all the marked items in the last tab will be unmarked and then they won't get deposited in the stash. Deposit one tab's worth of items at a time. ✅In your excitement for infinite riches, it's easy to forget to go back to Kalla, start the Arena challenge again, and abandon it. You MUST do this to exit the limbo state and get your duplicated items.

the way to get the rare coils doesn't work anymore. They've extended the balcony/structure so it's impossible to get out of the arena anymore. I'm only able to get to the first overhang and that's it.

Glitch is still working as of August 2024, can confirm. Because of this, I was able to max out 2 legendaries even before finishing the 3rd subfunction quest. Thanks so much for this very detailed guide. I would just like to share a few stuff I learned while doing the 1st one: you gotta be quick in jumping over the platform towards the exit, or else the ravager's cannons will destroy it. Also, once you've deposited your items at the shelter and are going back to the arena, you can save some time by just going straight back towards the arena. No need to follow the same winding path through the bridges; just cross the river directly (you can see an aircraft nearby) and the arena will be right there.

Btw, ive noticed for the part where you squat & have to "phase" thru the wood on the door, you can literally just not hold anything & let yourself fall thru it! It seems to be a lot more easy & consistent than trying to press forward & wiggle around til you fall thru. I find if you wiggle the stick a little, stop, see if u fall thru, wiggle some more if you don't, & keep trying til you do. Juat sayin'. For those who are struggling to get the "phasing" to work when holding forward & wiggling around, just let go of the stick & let her fall! Works really well for me & is how I've done each dupe run thus far.

I was able to consistently make it doing this exactly! First try every time. In the beginning I held forward and it clipped Aloy between the two gates, which made it very difficult to get outside and I thought this what was supposed to happen, so I actually clipped through a different (but nightmarish) route lol. You can also just get on a watering or sun wing and fly the route instead of running the route. Works faster and easier. Just call the flying mount to you immediately after leaving the arena.

The grind for upgrade components and coils in HFW is overboard. For Horizon 3 they seriously need to dial back the number of weapons, the number of upgrade components needed, and provide acquiring coils and weaves on the ground during gameplay instead of 'that one merchant in burning shores'. Goodgods, what were these people thinking: more is more!!?

I'd say dial back the weapons and outfits but replace that time spent with changes to models changing as you improve whatever piece it is. It seems that because of the quantity of weapons they have a stock model for each rarity until you get to legendary. I enjoy the visual flair of a weapon or armor changing as you upgrade it other than number go up or ammo unlocked. Farming machine parts is part of the loop that Horizon is known for so I got nothing there.

Completely agree. I've spent the same amount of time playing HFB so far as I did on HZD; however, I beat HZD twice and bought/upgraded every weapon and outfit I wanted to, meanwhile in HFB I am just now starting the DLC on my first playthrough and still need to purchase/upgrade far more items than I care to. By the time you've purchased/upgraded the best weapons and armors in the game most of us are already sick of it. I loved HZD so much that I would play it a 3rd time easily, HFB I haven't even fully completed once and I'm already getting bored with it.

I got tired of the grind after upgrading 75% of my gear on very hard to just putting it on story mode to get the parts for all my legendary. Hope they have a better system next. I like how it was in Zero Dawn they now is max and the coils make it better

@gencraigz idk if this helps, but if you stand up while in the middle of the gate, then you ruined the glitch. Always stay crouched until you completely pass the gate otherwise you will be stuck.

Also i already got 64 elite coils, 128 close range damage and resources worth of above 200K shards already 🤣🤣🤣, so i have pretty much OP build. Tears of the land god 5 close range coils, iriv's downfall 3 elite and 2 close range (Critical boost valor surge will bring down apex slaughterspine under one minute), brawl breaker with 5 close range (Sustained burst ftw), Sun scourge (my favorite) fully dedicated for frost (pure OP, brittle enemies have massive damage output), death seeker for shock arrow and Defiance spear with 5 close range coils. I am ripping through the enemies with this build in NG+ very hard. My basic strategy is frost the enemies, bring them down with sharpsot bows and spear. If they are having elemental resistance, drench them with purgewater and then frost them (works very well with enemies like Thunderjaw, ravager etc).

TIP: after the re-entry it doesn’t reset for me so I press RETRY for it to actually resets and duplicates. So for those who have some issues adding this in the end gives u 100% safe duplication.

I normally dont like having to do things like this but the grind for upgrades becomes so laborious...after the 20th fireclaw and 10th apex heart im like bruh...enough now. And I say this with a history of mmo farming. Farming for currency i still encourage to do as intended but to each their own.

I wouldn't even mind the farming *that* much, but it's super tedious in this game. Like I didn't turn difficulty down to *normal* and leave it there because the game was too difficult, but because it just takes way too long to kill the larger machines. It's not significantly harder, just more expensive, and takes more in-fight crafting, which I loathe. The final nail in the coffin is the stupidly low drop chances on primary nerves and such. So you have to kill dozens of each large machine, which really lowers their dramatic value, and just devalues the experience overall. So I hope this method still works. Gonna try it later.

First of all, sorry for my English..... you can do the same with the Arena medals. Start the arena, get out, cross the bridge so the timer stops, go back and buy things with your medals. Than start arena and exit it. You will have the items you bought and you don't lose any medals you've spend on buys😊😃😃😃

I've been doing this glitch for the past few days on PC. You don't have to go out to the right of the arena towards the campfire, you can go left and then call your flying mount then fly around the bridge to the shelter.

I have to say that this glitch is a lifesaver. I usually don't mind working for the best gear, but this game makes it a tedious grind. So I take out the first 4-12 machines of a type, depending on size, and without easy looting, to prove to myself that I can do it reliably, and if I don't have enough to upgrade everything I want then, I use the duplication glitch. How bad is the grind? Well, it gets unbearable even if you play on story mode. So it's good to see it works legitimately on PC and you don't have to use an infinite jumps cheat like I did until now. Also, I'm on NG+ now, and it seems to me that's actually the best way to experience the story and the quests, because you won't have to spend excessive extra time hunting machines for upgrades, especially if you collected everything you need to upgrade the NG+-specific gear in your previous playthrough. It's also good if you're annoyed by Aloy being downgraded so dramatically from the end of Zero Dawn. It know it's necessary for a fresh start, gameplay-wise, but I prefer intact continuity if I can get it.

One tidbit- when I return to the arena from the campsite, the marker takes me to gather the fanghorn ciruculator I targeted from the vendor which is a HUGE detour.. Now I leave one in my inventory so the system doesn't recognize a missing item needed. PS- LOVE LOVE LOVE your vids..

Thank you for the detailed explanation! I couldn't make your old route work on keyboard and mouse (going between the two invisible walls specifically, spent a whole hour on it and it never worked) and I was aware of this route but couldn't make it work either. Your advice *not* to jump but let Aloy climb on the door before crouching was the missing piece of the puzzle and I finally successfully completed the glitch. Honestly with the amount of pre-farm (to get at least one of every resource and coil/weave) + the time it takes to do 5/6 rotation of the Arena Glitch, it already takes as much time as farming in this game should take overall so I don't feel guilty at all for using it. Horizon is a game where I'll stop and try to kill a machine or a group for no reason beyond enjoying the combat, but I do *not* enjoy being forced to slaughter thousands of them for a mindless grind, regardless of the difficulty. And being forced to do 10 to 15 NG cycle to be able to coil every weapon was mindless nonsense too. I'd rather have my perfect setup for UH and do that in NG+ directly. So thanks a lot, you were a great help! I'll also watch your machine hunting videos now that I've finished the game on my own, as I prepare to go from VH to UH.

Glad you found this helpful! Yeah I agree having to do multiple NG+ runs to get more copies of the good coils is annoying. And there’s no doubt the grind for upgrade resources is real. I personally kind of like it, but I’m a weirdo that way lol. I do think it would be far more interesting to grind for those resources if machines had a chance to drop more copies of the good coils. That way, while you’re grinding for resources, you’d also be getting more coils.

There are grinds I've enjoyed but the RNG element is very annoying to me, Horizon's grind is either too mindless or not mindless enough that I can completely pay attention to something else. For example in Elden Ring, I've grinded max level. Literally 60 hours of repeating the exact same 15 second loop, killing the same 13 enemies 15 000 times. That worked for me because it was so mindless I could actually do something more productive at the same time. Horizon is just involved enough even in Story Mode, that I can't do that. Plus the frustration of not getting a Rockbreaker circulator 6 times in a row was maddening.

Ok so i finally did the dreaded encounter! The dreadeing is VERY annoying. I opted to neutralize it first. I jump yo the second platform then, I threw all my explosive bombs and acid bombs on it. When its taken care of, thats when i attempt to climb further up

Does the old infinite jump method still work today on PS5? I managed it plenty on PS4 last year, but before I waste my time, I wanted to check with you, since you've already demonstrated your knowledge and swift response time.

No infinite jumping does not work after patch 1.18/1.19. So, it does not work on the current PS5 patch. But you can use the much easier methods shown in this video. Only PS4 players need infinite jump.

I have the Dreaded Encouter special coils and Regalla's Wrath before dealing with Regalla thanks to this video. It was intensely challenging getting the superglider to respawn me outside the invisible walls, but I got it to work after about 12 minutes 😅 I'll come back and do the duplication glitch again once I have access to the Isle of Spires and the unique coils on offer there.

Another way for critical damage and othe other instant shock is to sell them and then abandoned quest otherwise when u put it inside stash all other stuff gone because there's nothing inside stash of mission continue

I've tested it on PC. You can definitely duplicate coils and weaves. Not sure why exactly you had an issue, but if you want to dupe them give it another try. It certainly works. Glad you found this helpful regardless!

I used your method which duplicated all my coils. I later re tried once I receive the 25% close range damage coil from Errend. I then duplicated and now can not add these to any weapon. I have tried all rope casters, warrior bows etc and they all say incompatible.

Ah ok so that’s not because of the duplication. Not all coils are compatible with all weapons. Close range coils are not compatible with ropecasters or warrior bows, unfortunately.

I seriously don't get Guerilla's stance on this... I feel like they actually dont even want to fix it, but instead only tell players "yea, good one, try again" or smt.. Cuz from a Developer-Standpoint, they could EASILY fix it with one single change: disabling the stash-interaction while an arena-challenge is running, instead of constantly adding more and more invisible walls over and over again. @@texastank They are not intentionally allowing the dupe system to hold because it is a “fun” challenge, they simply are either oblivious, or can’t be bothered to dedicate the resource while they work on their other projects (Horizon 3 & Horizon co-op). Guerilla sees through every opportunity to make the game more artificially hard and less fun, look at the changes from Zero Dawn. Limit to 3 rolls, limit to double and triple notching, extreme limit to certain ammunition types (volatile sludge) and general other inventory capacity limits and extreme crafting recipes are prime examples of this ideology.

@ it is so easy to patch with a giant invisible box. The roll and notching were op in horizon. So they balanced them. Volatile sludge is über easy to get even in UH I can’t even. Capacity limits were present in Zero Dawn too. There are more weak points in FW, creating action packed combat that is incompatible with the freer range of movement in ZD. Limiting the movement of the player makes combat more fun because you have to play for your strengths and your machine’s weaknesses.

Can you also dupe ammo? I'm doing the glitch now & can't see why not... Any reason you can't also store your ammo when going to the Shelter in the Glitched state? Do they not get duped? How bout Strike pieces? Not sure why those couldn't be duped as well?

yes Strike pieces can be duplicated, blue or higher, I've duplicated legendary ammo, bluegleam and greenshine

When I do it once I get in between the door to get out and get near the entrance Alloy just stands up in between the door and it won’t let me exit it. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

Make sure that Aloy keeps looking down towards the ground when you are moving towards the gap in the door, so she doesn't stand up.

DOes this still work if i get the burning shores DLC? I have the PSVR2 and whatever addon thats called. This glitch still works for me perfectly. I had leveled up a LOT without getting any good gear cause the grind for resources seemed to outweigh the fun i was having. So i just started it 2 years later again and i had only unlocked like 30% of the map. This game is SO much more fun with all the crazy coils/weaves you can put on and u can actually upgrade multiple purples(and legendarys) without grinding some insane amount. I'm an older, casual gamer so this dupe glitch made the game perfect for me again. It's still challenging too. Very much so. So many mechanics to it it's hard to remember everything in every encounter but i love your vids, they have helped me recall what iforgot and learn a bunch of new stuff. ANyways,lol, if i get the DLC will it patch this or am i safe? I'm on PS5 btw

For Dreaded Encounter, Smoke Bombs seem to be doing nothing... The Dreadwing STILL spits Acid at me & knocks me off the platform every time, even if I use a Smokebomb immediately. It makes no sense...

It has to be close enough to you for the smoke bomb to put it in the confused state.

i noticed another glitch you can do with in this one. first make sure you have enough metals at least enough to buy armor.. Perform the glitch as show in this video. but before you go back to start the arena at the end of the glitch go talk to Dukkah and buy an armor piece or weapon. After doing so go back kalla and start the arena match again as per this video and abandon the arena match. you will have that armor or weapon you bought from Dukkah and still have all your metal. i would repeat this till you have all armor and weapons. This also applies to coils as well. Enjoy!

The only sucky thing about doing this is you have to recoil ALL your weapons & armor all over again. IF you're anything like me, you probably spent HOURS coiling your stuff JUST right!

I finished the main campaign and burning shores with 70% of the side quests done, on hard mode my first ever playthrough, reached level 60. All the challenge disappeared and I quickly got bored, I restarted from scratch on Very Hard and enjoying the extra bit of challenge, but only died twice in the first 20 hours. This game more than any could really do with enemy scaling to your level. Maybe I should of gone with Ultra Hard, how much of a step up is it from Very Hard? Would I just be miserable if I attempted it 😅

@ArktixOfficial No no, your coils that you had from the challenge, not the merchant. The arena challenge also appears to give you several other rare coils. I tried it & it worked! Seemed like a nice way to get a head start on the duping. It had another instant Brittle coil, a Stealth 25%, Overdraw 15%, etc. There's only a couple of those per playthru. I sold the good ones & bought them all back. Seemed silly not to.

Oh sure yeah you can sell anything you have equipped during a locked loadout challenge to get it the same way you get the special coils.

I am usually against glitching and think they should entirely take licenses from people that have unrealistic low or even negative times in the arena challanges. But when you have to grind the same machines for like 150 times just to level up your favorite weapon loadout it simply is down to the developers for not being more creative on what machine parts you need.

Oh yeah I wish they'd get rid of those bogus arena times, too. Those are all done used mods/hacks. None are legit. Pretty annoying for anyone who actually wants to grind to get a good time legitimately.

The people using glitches to get negative times or like 0.3 seconds or so must really be people who can't get them done legitimately. The only ones I 'struggled' with where the Apex Predator one and the one with the elephant machine (don't know the english name) because I got hit over and over again as soon as I stood up again after being hit. As soon as you get a run where they won't spam attack you like that it is absolutely manageable and I consider myself a mediocre player and admit that I am pretty slow and taking way to long to make sure to get a good hit when it comes to aiming and shooting. 😂
