NEVER FOOL YOURSELF INTO BELIEVING all farming theft / vandalism is STRANGERS / RANDOM. there is a SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT ORGANISED by those who would PROFIT from the farming being liquidated. WIVES, FAMILY MEMBERS, and the areas 'KARENS' who love to see a successful man fall down.

Surely there can’t be many who would be as lax as this about security in this day & age? I saw no dogs. I know they’re not a guarantee but they are a deterrent, they are an extra risk for a thief to deal with. And wouldn’t an alarm/CCTV reduce the insurance premium? In my neck of the woods we have a fair number of gypsies, neighbours have also had livestock & equipment disappear from time to time and it would take the police too long to arrive in an emergency. People have to rely on themselves & each other to deal with these things.
