The first artifact domain I ever farmed was Ocean Hued Clam / Husk of Opulent Dreams when it came out because I only had two limited five stars Kokomi and Albedo. My only standard five star was Qiqi. So that domain was a god send for me.

You dont need the Domain but there is no slower way to get artifacts than the strongbox, so if you Really want specific Sets you cant relie on just the strongbox

@@snicko2000 My point is that you can spend 160 resin in a domain, get 1 good artefact and 6 trash, then you can spend those trash artefact in the strongbox and probably end up with 2/3 good artefacts. I think the disclaimer in the video is quite clear: If you need the artefact for a specific character, then no domain is a waste of resin.

This was a really cool way to see which domains are the most efficient use of resin - and a really big sign that we've been missing an artifact set like Gilded Dreams for a long time for it to pop into 2nd place immediately! Also wow, the way Noblesse just carries Bloodstained into the top 3, oof. Don't hurt your back carrying like that, haha. Really surprised to see the Ayato/Xiao artifact domain ranked so highly, but I'll never go... too much EoSF farming in my past, I have more attack % artifacts than I know what to do with!

I think shimenawa should also be a BIS for wanderer. Sure, you loose some points for the ult, but his normal and charged attacks are the key and shimenawa boosts them by 50% (10% more than his set) they're both pretty balanced

True but his set increases attack speed as well. I personally use Shim because I have a busted set from farming there forever. Wanderer is also an under appreciated character and can out DPS many if the SS character placed above him. He also holds my fastest abyss clear times at C0.

If you manage to get him to C1 + his weapon + his artefact , then throw a Thoma C6 or something and we are looking at set 40% att speed with no hitlag becasue he is catalyst user. I want to fight for paradise. It’s 4p is the bis artifact for any character that uses bloom reactions. Meaning not just kokomi and thoma but kuki hyperbloom raiden fish or any electro off field character. Aswell as nilou (I think)

The fact that Deepwood’s 15% dendro bonus actually helps on electro and Pyro characters (for hyperbloom and burgeon respectively) makes deepwood that much more flexible. The deepwood/gilded domain is nice domain.

The 15% damage bonus doesnt do anything for Bloom/Hyperbloom/Burgeon/Bountiful Bloom and so on, these reactions only count the level, EM of the character triggering them and the Dendro Resistance of the target.

Bolide is actually pretty good on any character that requires a shield, not just Yoimiya but also Hu Tao, Wanderer. Assuming you don't want to sacrifice burst on them (unlike Yoimiya whose burst is just that bad), it's probably better worth it than Shimenawa desite the lower damage bonus, especially considering the 35% shield strength is extremely useful on a character that loses dps or becomes oneshotted their shield runs out. Domain is still last place even with those two added.

I think it depends how long are your animations, can you cancel them, do you choose weak shielder for pyro resonance bonus etc. In general you don't need to stand there and tank it all. If you choose Zhongli and still loose shield, for example, then that's more skill issue.

I think you'd get a more accurate resin efficiency result if you used a different formula than simply adding the two sets together. For starters I would try (points A+5)*(Points B+5) or something like that. You want a formula where one side getting significantly less users drags the overall results down. Additionally, sets where the users look for different main and substats are better than sets where all the users want the same stats. For example this makes Nobless better - You have ATK, DEF and HP scalers all among the potential users but for the same reason Bloodstained worse, as physical attacks always scale on ATK.

I'm also not a statistician but I personally rank The Lost Valley pretty high as well since I do like collecting 2pc Atk% sets. Since both are atk% sets, I can interchange them if I only need one set. My example is a parry Beidou build. I strongbox the dead pieces into TF and I check which has better stats on Echoes and Vermilion.

I think the flower of paradise lost set is a bit undervalued here, guilded only boosts em and atk a bit, which are buffs you can get from other places, like kazu c2, nahida, bennett, etc. while fopl gives you reaction damage bonuses, which is a rarer buff

Albedo was one of my 1st 5 stars during the cinnabar spindle dragonspine event. I farmed husk domain until I had THREE FULL good ocean hued clam sets for Kokomi, Barbara, and Qiqi. I still have NO husk piece that gives geo dmg or crit. At the end of the day, for my sanity I just decided quit fighting stupid rift hounds outright and slapped a double crit defense circlet on Albedo. 3.2k def is nice

The chasm domain being high up goes to show the method you used is rather flawed, you get a lot of atk% 2pc sets from glad and shimenawas already, and the the 4pc effect on both sets is kinda shit

I think it's fair to say at this point that no domain is worth your time if only one set is required. The only three I see that you are forced to are Husk, Vermillion and that new Anemo/Bloom one - which is good cause to perhaps avoid certian characters, like Itto, Xiao or Wanderer imo. Actually severed fate too, but i've always found someone to use Shimenawa - alas it is a niche set still Also, is noblesse really that good? 20% increase atk%, sure if you have multiple supports that scale off atk - XQ, Bennett, XL, Rosaria, Sucrose kinda then Yoimiya or someone then I can kinda see it, but otherwise it just seems like a low tier option, even if it's really the only option for certain units - like diona, Shenhe, zhongli

Emblem requires over 140% ER to exceed the damage bonus of Hydro + Noblesse on burst (140 x 0.25 = 15+20). Actual threshold is a bit higher since Emblem still needs to compensate for loss of hydro bonus on skill. If you're able to run lower ER than that due to various factors already mentioned, then Emblem is straight up not the set.

Hard to make the list, BUT as for ocean clam for kokomi/qiqi/barbara/yaoyao is different, because its way easier to build than any-dps heavy set (which domains appear higher than clam). Also it is BiS for Jean in xiao teams and i wonder why you didn't mention that. So it means that you don't need to farm this domain that much.

probably for general bis. tbh, i would farm more on 4pc TotM than the Hued Clam as Qiqi, Kokomi, Yaoyao, can also benefit on this set as a hard support along side with so many character. it is generally good for characters that have high uptime Elemental Skill that deals dmg periodically like Fischl, Albedo, Xiangling, Mona, Xinyan, Zhongli etc etc. i dont disrespect your opinion but not every character can use Clam and is very limited to healers unlike Tenacity, just get a 4pc trash stats and as long as your Elemental skill hits target on or off field, youre good to go. you get a 20% buff throughout your party. also on Jean-Xiao comp. its better to give Jean 4pc Exile for Xiao's Energy issues.

Slot in Coloquial terms just means “The Best Option”. I’m sure it’s just some old gaming term from so other game lol. So slot is their 4pc artifact set bonus, the specific “slots” of the 5 artifact don’t matter, as long as four of them are the same!

I have a question , after equipping 4 piece noblesse to one character it gives 20% ark bonus after burst , so that means that equipping 3 characters on a same team and using their burst gives (20+20+20=60)% atk bonus??

Ive seen tenacity 4pcs set on fischl and c6 faruzan. Is it not recommended judging by the list? My fischl is currently on tenacity build.

Nah tenacity fishcl is a solid build! It just lowers her damage capabilities which does suck a bit since she actually outputs great damage off field. So idk how much I’d recommend it over thundering fury, gilded or even a 2pc 2pc

Im ngl i kinda wanna contest the idea that crimson witch is BiS for hu tao, cos I have a 4pc set of that for her with pretty similar stats to a 4pc shimenawa’s and the shimenawa’s set outdamages my crimson witch pretty handily from what ive tested

I would like to see how 4* sets factor in, because they can sometimes rarely be viable, either as specific 2-piece effects, or you know, Instructors is a cracked set that would be top tier if it was 5*. Even if it would only add a couple points, sometimes you might want those sets.

I almost regret using instructors as enhancement material. Who knows how many decent pieces were sacrificed lol.

Yes I consider domains that have very solid 2pc for either artifact set is a good domain. That is why the Blizzard Strayer/Heart of Depth is actually a pretty good domain. Especially if you have a cryo and hydro dps and you probably should have one like Ayato or Childe. In a pinch you can use Kokomi or Mona as an on field dps if you have to. The only weird domain is the VV one. That VV set is so valuable that it is worth farming early on despite how useless Maiden is. It is probably the first set you should ever farm. After you have random 4 pieces and they can even be purple artifacts you should farm another domain and strongbox worthless 5 stars to get VV pieces.
