Thanks for sharing Joey! I finally found your video of the set-up on rolling cultivators again. I knew I had seen one. I need to make a pair of those mounts for the cultivator. I can't see spending $100 for a set at Burch, when I have a milling machine and welder. LOL

Thanks so much for these 140 videos !! This is just the kind of info. I was looking for. Videography well done. I have a pair of rolling cultivators and I was wondering how to set up....I knew my late father liked them quite a bit. Thanks again....

I like the way they aerate the soil. I use the spider gangs to hill my potatoes and sweet corn.

It’s funny I told a subscriber the other day that I don’t know why when I was younger we never used them for corn or anything but tobacco. Lol

Those look like they come off a Lilliston cultivator. They work good, very adjustable on how much dirt to move.

Some of my bars and holders did. Your right they do work good. Thanks for watching.

I’ve been looking for a channel like this forever. I have my grandfathers 140 and it has rolling cultivators and I had no idea how to set up. I need the square bars for mine currently have them the way you didn’t mount them. I like in York SC and have an old tobacco farm in caswell county nc right off 158 in Casville. I subscribed and rang your bell for more knowledge. I have mine on my channel but don’t really have many accessories for it but want to find some.

Get a swivel impact grade extension for those hard to reach areas. They are awesome!

Hey Doug Thanks for watching. I’ve thought about that. I ended up getting a 15/16 ratchet wrench from craftsman it’s been working pretty good.

I just picked up 2 140's at auction about 3 weeks ago. Auction was 700 miles from me so based on pics and honesty of auctioneer I bought both for $5760.00. So far: had to repair tranny shifter on one,and on that one had to clean fuel tank,completely go through it to change fluids,fix charging system,identify all of the leaks. On the 2nd one I just got started and found the cracked block in about an hour after starting the work on it. Did I mention that both were "restored" and "field ready" by the auctioneers own words? At least almost all of the cultivator parts are there and plan is to use one for cultivating and I have some time to finish before needed. Awaiting my 2nd batch of parts from Burch Tractor and at least they seem to be nice,knowledgeable,and helpful.Have multiple videos up and if you have time to watch ,any input or advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Amos.

@@Jtwes Spoke to him several times: always helpful and takes the time to answer my questions. I turn a good wrench and have fixed and sold countless tractors and heavy equipment (and kept a lot too) but Internationals are not what I usually fool with:especially any attachments specific to the older ones. Quick question: will Farmall C model attachments work on 140's? Might have a line on some locally.

amos snow I’m not real sure I don’t really ever mess with farmall c or m but I was thinking that they had a two prong fast hitch

@@Jtwes Just spoke with Brandon: on the tool bars the holders and anything going to the ground from them will interchange.Tool bar and up won't Good to know: here the C tool bar implements are plentiful and cheap. The Farmall C series was a popular tractor in the area. I know how hard it is to post videos: takes a very long time,but keep posting. Your videos are interesting.

amos snow it’s not to bad my son edits for me. I’m still a little shy about talking on camera. Just like last night I couldn’t remember the proper name for those cultivators . It’s Rolling Cultivators lol.

Trying to put a set of rear cultivators on my 140 but appears the wheels are not set out far enough to clear the mounting area. Any suggestions on best way to set the rear wheel out slightly ?
@Jtwes2 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike Are you putting rolling cultivators on the rear of the tractor.
@mikebowling32282 жыл бұрын
@@Jtwes No trying to mount the rear single shovel, Mine have 2 bolts to mount to tractor gear housing, it appears that the mounts are going to have interference with the inside of the rear rim. You have a slightly different mount that you slide yours into then pinned. Maybe I need to remove the mounting bracket from the cultivator and mount to the tractor then slide the cultivator into the mount ?
