Great video Joe! You mentioned you had the crooked rod that runs from the right rockshaft arm down to the hitch bail. My 140 came with one and it's the only one like it I've ever seen. One thing I've been doing for years is using burnt motor oil to coat the bottom of my hopper. I used to paint it on with an old paint brush after I finished using the hopper. Now I have a plastic tub with burnt motor oil in it. When I'm done using my hopper for the year, I scrape out all the fertilizer with an old screw driver and wash it out good. When it dries off, I set it in the tub of burnt motor oil. About a month before I will use it next spring, I take it out and let all the oil drain off of it. I'm still using the original hopper that came with the tractor when daddy bought it in 1976. It still has the same plate that came with it. Whatever you do, when your done with it, CLEAN IT AND OIL IT!

I’m doing a “relook” at some of your videos, possibly all. I continue to pick up on “stuff” as I actually get my hands on my own stuff. Only one of my tractors has the fertilizer set up. A couple different planters that seem different than IH = no idea how to use them at this point. Joey you know I purchase any and all of the cast off for the Cult A Vision tractors. Might prove useful some day. Thanks again for sharing. Stan

A friend of mine just planted all his corn with a old cole duplex planter. Half throttle first gear on his 140 put out a seed or two about every foot. I'm about to try my fertilizer setup for the first time on my super A. Thanks for the videos!

An "after the fact" comment. Joey you have no idea as to just how much a newbie like myself learns from each of your videos. Might be "old hat" to a guy that grew up farming, but to me it is all great stuff. I have so much to learn, just not enough time I suspect. Fun stuff IMO. I am glad your subscribers are picking up, takes awhile I suppose. Thanks again from "Bubba North".

One turn of the press wheel is about 4 feet of travel. So put seed in the hopper and turn the press wheel once and see how many seeds come out. 4 seeds = 12 inch spacing. 6 seeds = 8 inch spacing.
