Farmall Fanatic....I think I’ve heard of him!😂 Nice looking carburetor! You probably already know this, but when you’re ready to rebuild yours Steiner Tractor offers rebuild kits. Nice running H Chris, I’d still love to own one for sentimental reasons. Good video sir!

A few people have 😉😁 Yes, he did a great job rebuilding that carb. Are the kits from Steiner any good? Some of the parts I have purchased from them are not the best quality. Thanks!!

@@dehavenfamilyfarm I’ve had good luck with Steiner, I’ve ordered body panels, seat assembly, electrical parts and carb rebuild kits with no disappointments so far.

I don't even hardly use our H anymore but I can't bring myself to selling it.....We hook it up to the tedder or pull a wagon once in awhile to justify having it....They're great little tractors...Glad you got it back purring again, ready for the summer....Thanks Chris.

The valve on the bowl is handy to have. Drain it out for repairs, drain it out if it's flooded. It's also possible to send a burp of air through there to dislodge crud in the fuel line. You can also add a valve to the side of the block behind the carb in case you need to drain out the coolant for a thermostat replacement, water pump work, etc. It also helps to keep coolant off the tractor & draining into a bucket if you have a hose on it. Regards!

I will use the tip cleaner from the acetylene torch in the jet. I don't know how many times I watched Dad make a carburetor gasket from a shoe box. Than you Chris.
@brycewiborg8095

On that thought Dad would change oil in the spring. After he dropped the oil, but before he changed the filter he would dump kerosene in the crank case, but idle the engine for a while. I have found that process recommended in the 1939 operators manual.

Making a gasket from a cardboard box is a creative idea! I have heard of people putting kerosene in the transmission as a flush, but never heard of using it as an engine flush- it would probably work though. Thanks Bryce 🙂

First thing I would do is clean the little brass filter screen at the fuel inlet fitting... Just unscrew it and give it a blow.
