Toby, thanks for taking the time to do these types of rehabs. With all the rotten content on regular television and 1000 channels on DirecTv that don't have anything worthwhile to watch, your channel on YT is a breath of fresh air. I yurn for the day I can get my hands on "old iron" and do what you so graceiously do. Until then, I'll just be a rabid fan and watch every episode and gleen as much knowledge I can. You are a wonderful content maker on YT and in my humble opinion, one of the best.

I was taught to tighten the spindle nut, back it off about half a turn, then go back finger tight. I always ended up with that free spin with no play feel. You can't explain it, you have to demonstrate it when you teach it to someone else.

I can imagine the spindle and associated parts on some tractors I know. They run until you can detect a bearing problem, but often the carnage has spread beyond the bearing by that time. Those fenders are spectacular!

This project has been so fascinating to watch, thank you for making the videos and bringing us along! The amount of research you do with the manuals was something interesting when you were able to use the 300 parts for the H. You make it look so easy in the videos, but can see how much work and talent you put into these restorations. Jeff

Thanks Squatch. This is going to help me with my 460 Farmall narrow front end. I bought it from a guy that said it was for a 400 Farmall. I am going to check casting numbers to see if it is the same as yours. In my search for a narrow front end to replace the worn out Schwartz front end I sold to KZbinr Andy Fromm I found some really different looking wheel center castings on Farmall wide frontends. Finding parts for what I thought was a pretty standard frontend was nearly impossible. I hope these castings are the same as this was a big help as my wheel bearings and seals are trashed. My wheel hubs are original to the 460.
