1976 International 1066 Black Stripe walkaround

This is the Big Boy in the tent this year. Its a 1976 International 1066 Black Stripe . I explain a little about this tractor and the reasoning of the black stripe program in the video . I hope you enjoy as much as I did driving it and experiencing the raw Hp of this BIG IH .

Thanks for your videos last week. Those videos got me their yesterday for the 1st time lol. Didn’t ride any rides or play any games. Came and looked at the tractors and everything else agricultural related lol. The dept and of forestry had a nice display also. I work in the logging daily so i had to check them out. I’ve been slowly uploading videos I took there yesterday. I’m jealous….. you get to touch them lol

Only thing I even brought was out that tent this video was taken lol. Some IH hats and license plates. I was like a kid in a candy store lol. That farmall B at the other tent was really neat also. That 100 by the pond with the Crome was some eye candy too now. I wanted to get a close look at the exhaust lift on the A by the pond and didn’t realized after i watched my video back from inside the tent I walk right by 1 lol. Too busy filming to notice all excited and all lol. I enjoyed everything y’all had on display. Y’all did a great job. Can’t wait to get out to a plow day with my A and 140 to see the other tractors the guys have

I like the International 1066 blackstrip tractor, and if my grandfather was still today, and if he probably would have got one because my favorite tractor was the blackstrip 1066 big horsepower tractor and have a great day today 👍👍👍👍

Nice black stripe. I've got a 75 model just before they came out with the black stripe. The major difference is the serial number tag is moved to the right side of the transmission housing and the arm links are the same as the 86 series compared to the spade type. Beautiful tractor. Thanks for sharing.

From what I was told by a neighbor who traded me a black stripe 1066 that I had for another black stripe 1066 that he found for me that the 1075 black stripe serial number is on the left side and the1976 model is on the right side. My tractor that I have has the serial number on the left. The tractor that I traded was originally bought new by my neighbor and traded in for a new tractor in 1991. He found out a few years later that I had bought his old tractor. He pestered me for 10 years to get it back. He restored it to parade quality and has been featured in Red Power magazine.

What a beauty of a machine and also wish IHC would of kept the 66 series going , The 86 series was the demise of the company !

Yes and it falls into the range of black stripe tractors. I didn't want to put it online for others to see.
