Gotta say that any MiG-19 video is a great watch. Such a simple bird to follow. The A-4 hassle is admirable, though. The jets in this generation are so sort of pure. The coming Phantom release is probably going to bias the crowd towards the complex jets, though.

It was a very bad idea. But I often do very bad ideas. I was trying to keep it partially vertical to give me a bit of an advantage but I really should have disengaged.

I think there's an update to the MiG-19 and one or other manual is out of date - I think it starts with the oxygen already open now

What indication is it that helps you know when to open that oxygen valve?

The view going fuzzy and darkening XD it means you are a few seconds away from passing out. I *should* open it during startup but... I forget. A lot. In so many planes
