Imagine being one of these "diehard enthusiasts" that hates Novelkeys for trying to help people get into the hobby. At that point they are just elitist gatekeeping losers smh. I love this company for exactly what they stand for.

honestly, good for Mike. he's been such a great resource in the hobby for so long now. i still remember how excited i was to get my first switch tester from him, and it's great that he's still helping new people get into the hobby

Such a great story. I've had family members look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them about the keyboard hobby. I'm sure we all have, right? When they ask "who on earth would want this". My response is usually "people who type all day, every day, for a living". Which is a true. But when you find out a farmer from West Virginia started one of the best companies, one of the pillars of the communities, it is proof that anyone can be bitten by the bug.

Lovely interview with Big Mike :) He was the first vendor in the community to also support my work, and just always pushed me along in a way where I'd feel comfortable and still feel like things were manageable. I love this series, but as a suggestion for future videos, could you include the actual question that you ask to the interviewees? It'd be great to see the actual question being asked next to the answer, so that viewers don't have to infer it solely from context. It'd deepen the listening experience imo. Great work, Nathan. Keep it up, and hope to see you again soon, friend

Super cool insight into a fun company and happy for Mike that it has worked out as well as it has, I always enjoy seeing people get to live out their dreams. I also never saw that panels video and lost it when the Harlequin Golf popped up, that was one of my first cars and I miss it everyday.

What a down to earth, humble guy. I’ve always had a great experience when ordering through NK, even if slight issues came up that weren’t even Mike’s fault(postal issues), he went out of his way to make it right. Also super good at getting back to your questions if you have any via the support feature on the site. Watching this just made me ready to order an 87ee. Just gotta decide on a color and place it tomorrow. Frosted clear, Blumen, or atomic purple…need opinions! Haha
