Had a bad back for many years and tried Chiropractor, acupuncture and inversion table but all only temporary relief what really fixed me( 10 yrs now ) is phisio therapy working on my core muscles located in the hips - back and abdomen- very specific exercises and worked for me and got me to retirement …

If it's inflammation/ bulged disc giving ya grief. Get yourself Epsom salts 25kg bag at your local Co op and soak in a warm bath for 20 mins. 1kg Will get ya going quick. Failing that difene works well for a quick fix. Long term - Get yerself scanned at any of the hospitals to see what's causing it b4 you go chiropractoring or phisioing. 20 years of back pain on and off - done the circuit.

I've got a crook back, had it for decades. I use Ibuprofen & Paracetamol - 2 of each every 4 hours - to control it. The Ibu' controls the inflammation, whilst the Para helps with the pain. It doesn't make it perfect by any stretch, but it lets you get on and do to a reasonable standard without resorting to Doctor-prescribed 'Space Cake' meds. 'Course, it don't help that your job is physical AF, either . . .

It takes time to discover why, which part of your back is out of line/nerve pinched. My back is actually my hip and neck, both to do with having children or being born(forceps delivery caused both) took many years to work out why and how to relieve.

Don't push on through back pain you could do permanent damage ask me how I know 😢
@DesignedintheheadКүн бұрын
Definatly don't push through, the reason it locked when you tried to lift the water pipe is because the muscle was protecting the nerve, it got afraid you were going to damage the nerve and locked to protect it,, you need to work with your muscles and convince them you are not going to hurt the nerve and you also need to floss the nerve, there are a set of exercises that work,
