Man I could have used some of these when we were mushroom hunting at CJ’s last weekend . I got into some Poison Oak which I had never seen in NH before and my arm is broken out pretty bad and even after scrubbing the rash continues to pop up further up my arm. Enjoy your Memorial Day Rob , I’m sure as a retired Sapper this Holiday means more to you than many others. Thanks again for your service my friend. God Bless all those who gave all for our country.

I hadn't even considered using sleeves like this for anything other than sun protection! I'm glad there are other uses. I go out in the scorching heat of summer, covered from head to toe (including sleeves, similar to these ones, with UV protection) to protect from sunburn. We get extreme UV readings here (subtropical Australia), so I find it necessary and it is actually much cooler than having my skin exposed. The other locals have not caught on though, I have so many people staring at me, or asking if I'm hot! 🤦‍♀️ 😂 They can't comprehend that it is actually cooler!

Hahaha! Thanks (I think) Aaric. I was getting them for my wife and oldest son initially, but decided to get some for myself too. I don't react as strongly as they do to poison ivy but they are still nice to avoid the itching and help spot ticks.

I've farmed and gardened all my life and the only sleeve I've ever worn was a shirt and the weather was coldish. Yes I get scratches and bug bites and I'm 72 yrs old.

Sounds like this might have been a good option for him. It never causes a major reaction for me but has for my wife and son. My son actually has scars still from his last breakout over two years ago before we started using these sleeves.
