you've got the touch! everything looks lovely AND interesting. i love old books & collect them from the 1800s. im not a big collector, probably have about 2 shelves worth in my bookcase. one time a dealer told me if there is writing in the book, the value is lower & i said for me, it becomes a higher value because i feel a camaraderie with this person who owned the book, read the book & liked it enough to write in the book (esp childrens drawings on the inside covers!) on lazy days, i'll pull one out & read bits. i am dying to put a little vintage pill box hat with veil on your head. she needs some love. lol.

I do like the way you created this cozy room. I do not understand why you put the vases in front of the pretty picture, it totally hides it. If you placed one short vase it would look more like a pretty accent that draws the eye to the picture. Try it and see if you like it.

Sarah...Sarah ... what a DREAMY SPACE you have created ! I love the corbels next to the mirror so it looks like one piece !!!!! I love all those old books!!!! AND the wall that is shiplapped with the small picture and a candles sconce by them.... just as you say “ elegant, classy, vintage and dreamy”....then add those gorgeous bedspreads! You nailed it ! You can make the girls pictures by a light, my mom when I was little used my dad construction light also used for car repairs to see, put a white board on a wall had us sit on chair. The size of paper she used to track our out line on. Distant shadow throw by placement of chair and closeness to it. We were poor in money but rich in love. We made do and figured things out. Peace. God gave you the gift of making a home and its beautifully done. I am enjoying your home and video's I can also tell your a Christian because of the way you dress. You inspire me to get off my butt and get busy. Been bla-say about my house but now have all kinds of ideas. Even decorated for fall. Thank you.

We were poor growing up too. I paid for everything by the time I was 14. Had a beautiful, loving home though 🤍 I paid for my own braces when I was 18 too😬 Thanks for the tip🤍 I’ll hopefully try it one day ☺️

The girl's room is gorgeous! I had to laugh that they dont like the glove hand. When I was little, I was terrified of a dressing manequin my grandma had and the hand wouldve freaked me out. That said, I was a weird kid haha. I'm a new subscriber and I love your channel and your hauls ❤

This is SO beautiful!! I’m slowly gathering pieces to makeover our master bedroom in a similar style & this inspired me so much! You can go to Etsy and find a person who will make your silhouettes from photos you send to them. We use to have a person in the area who did them but no more. I had my grandchildrens silhouettes done this way, they turned out great!

Beautiful room! That odd shaped basket; sometimes referred to a “buttocks” basket, because to some, looks like the shape of... buttocks! 😆 It is actually meant as an egg collecting basket, the two “buttocks” were meant to separate the eggs to prevent them from cracking when placed into the basket.

I pray pretty much over everything. When I can not think of what to pray for I just repeat the Lord's Prayer. Like when someone I know committed suicide I had trouble praying for a long while. God gave me scripture be still and know that I am God. So I just say the Lord prayer during that time. He gave me the time it took to get over the shock of it all. Sometimes we do not know why or have under standing to events that happen when we know the Lord, he gives us his peace. Feel a need ot say this have no idea why but decided to share this. Prayer is a powerful thing and even in our season of sorrow God is with us. He will get us through it and sometimes we just have to be still and know he is God and trust him. Especially when it doesn't make sense.
