Farmhouse Christmas Centerpiece - Christmas Candle Centerpiece

Fraser fir branches and magnolia leaves are nestled in this rustic galvanized container (along with other rustic additions)! Branches reach out to give it a natural feel while jute webbing peeks out of the foliage giving this Christmas candle centerpiece floral arrangement a farmhouse look! A flameless LED pillar candle was used to make the arrangement glow. Extend this idea to fill dough bowls, elongated crates, or other rustic containers!

Thanks RichieJ 58! When They are in containers that hold water I usually do add water. I actually put these arrangements together a little earlier for my channel so that my videos have a chance to be found. Live greenery (when fresh and kept away from heat sources) will last a week or two (sometimes longer). So I put the arrangements out in the cold garage (because cold preserves them) until a little closer to Christmas, then bring them back in the house to enjoy! :) -Christopher

I wanted to use live branches for a centerpiece in the house this year, but I thought they would just wilt and lose all their needles if they are not watered or in the house? Will those branches hold up this way?

Hi Karie, Live branches hold up for a little while - usually a couple weeks indoors (maybe longer). To make sure they last the longest, make sure to keep them away from heating sources and that the pine is fresh. I make my arrangements for my channel early so others have a chance to come across the videos. I keep them outside in the cold garage (because the cold preserves them) until closer to Christmas (a week or two before) to make sure they are fresh for the holiday :) -Christopher

This was the first year, I went a little crazy outside making all sorts of different arrangements with things I found in the woods, friends yards, my own gardens, etc. I have been wanting to make a few for the house too, but thought the needles would just keep falling off and cause a mess constantly. I think I will try it....maybe closer to Christmas though. Thanks again!

Karie R You could line your container with thick trash bags and add water. Your arrangement will last for weeks.
