You could poke a small hole in the canvas, thread the fairy lights from back to front and keep battery pack behind the canvas. Then the flowers cover the hole. I love your videos and will be trying this DIY for sure!

I would either poke a little hole in the back to hot glue the battery pack on the back. Or you could hot glue the battery pack right above the mason jar & when you put the flowers in it would cover it up.
@daymonvanella84186 жыл бұрын
You can drill a hole in the base of the jar with a glass drill bit. Then you can mount the battery pack to the back if the canvas and feed the lights through the hole. This will make turn on/off and battery replacement easier.

Great and easy diy. Instead of drilling a hole, you can just put small piece of velcro right above the jar and stick the battery pack over it and the flowers would hide it and it'll be easier to turn on and off.

Great decor ideas. As far as the battery pack, I would hot glue it onto the canvas right above the opening of the jar so you don't have to move the floral and reach into the jar to turn the lights on and the floral picks would cover it.

Im doing this right now!! I love this so much and already have all the supplies!! Now as for hiding the battery pack. I would actually take it out and glue it on the back side towards the bottom. That way you can run the strip down the back of the jar and since there was such a small lip under the jar at the bottom of the board, it would only show right there.

This is so precious! I LOVE this! You could paint the battery boxes and distress them to match the canvas, or I'm wondering if you could cut a slit in the canvas at the top of the jar and run the battery pack out the back side. Then just tape it from the back so that it doesn't separate. The flowers would disguise the slit.
@mommyfindingfit6 жыл бұрын
That would make it easier to turn off and on, too.

Great looking diy, like it very much. SO CUTE! Battery Pack: 3 ideas 1) paint the battery pack the same color as the canvas background, or cover it with moss, washi, scrapbooking paper that "goes with" and hide in the jar like you did. 2) make a slit in the canvas for the wire and hide the pack behind the canvas 3) camouflage the pack, and hide it in plain sight on the canvas. ie., make it look like a base the jar sits on, or deco to make it part of the display (a small book, a box holding flowers) etc. That kind of thing. (anything so you don't have to dig around to turn the lights on and off). Just a thought. from Cyndie on Rick's account ;-))
