Odd use of the non-animated YTV ident there - though I have seen another example somewhere before in that transition era. They didn't bother to change the end slide though!

The static "Liquid Gold" ident and shortened tune was added over programmes made before, or early, 1987. For a time, they also added it over repeats of their programmes; this was abandoned after a while as it was a lengthy, and somewhat pointless, process

@@mrb3097 This was seen before repeats of Duty Free where at times the static ident seen here was used but played the full 'Liquid Gold' jingle over it.
