Yesterday, I found a place to lie low, today, I'm doing that lying low, mostly because it's snowing and cold. I wanted to start hunting but ultimately, some days you just have to stay inside and read, craft, to survive. That won't last, I still need food.

Since nobody wrote a comment I might as well provide the tip of the episode. During sleep you recover twice as much health as you would otherwise. Usually players starve during the day and just eat before going to bed, thus nearly doubling their food supply.

That makes sense, but wouldn't that method make me loose the 5 kg bonus on weight from being well fed?

@@Numaticin Of course this is a problem as well as being more vulnerable to wolf attacks. Personally i like to play this way and think it is still an option for you to consider if things start to go downhill.

@@TimEngel-w5i I might keep that in mind especially if I'm low on food and need to ration, but personally I'd prefer not to do anything that deliberately cheeses the game mechanics.
