The jars with the stars on the lids are old Maxwell House coffee jars. They are collectable. People like to fill them with old wood clothes pins buttons , spools of thread and other things. Please don't throw them out. Thank you for showing us your clean-out. I loved seeing all the old things you were finding.

Box of miscellaneous coffee pot part you thought were dairy related.Old machine off shelve was an old coffee grinder. Jars with star lids instant coffee jar.blue canning jars are worth a few bucks not the clear ones which are still being sold. The round heavy metal object that says 5 inch is a pipe flue to adjust air flow to a stove pipe. Your boxes of glass lamp shades might be the original from the house. The coolest found was the door knocker. I hope it was the original to the house

Yep, old 1970 coffee pot parts to brew coffee on the stove... and they still make them today. Camping without a plug to use a drip coffee maker isn't convenient at all. So yes, they still make percolator coffee pots which are also useful if you've had a power outage and have a camp stove or gas BBQ. I live in Washington where we do get outages in the winter and we can still have coffee in the morning. It makes my day.😁

You asked what the aluminum things were and the little round aluminum things with lids? They're inside guts for a coffee percolator (an old school coffee pot.) Also, the long square clear glass dish with the lid is called a refridgerater dish. They're great for keeping things cool in the fridge, like cheese, etc... My Grandmothers had them back in the 60's and 70's and believe it or not you can still buy them at Kroger or Walmart. I bought one a year or two ago for my fridge. I would LOVE to have those cauldrons, or at least one of them. You might want to keep one around to burn sage in after all is done and complete in your home...that way if there's any strange spirits still lingering it may get them to leave and purify the home. You've done a lot of great work there, keep it up and keep the videos coming. You're a very sweet and smart young Woman.

Box of what you thought were dairy parts are actually coffee pot percolator parts. I hope you kept the coffee grinder, the food grinder and those beautiful light globes. That door knocker is amazing!! Either you or your boyfriend held up a damper that said The Adam's Company. Dubuque, Iowa. That is my home town. That was pretty cool to see. At the 5:00 &12:15 is the parts for a forge used by a blacksmith. That item has some value. At the 16:18 mark is a box of coffee pot inserts that hold the grounds. Laura there is some money in that room on antiques and old tools. I wish I lived close I would make you an offer on some things. Also i believe the thing with the crank handle and the little drawer is a coffee mill (grinder). I believe it is quite old. I wish you well in cleaning that space out. Look at it this way you have lots of stuff to be used for redecorating the house especially the kitchen.

Canning jars can be worth a good price, depending on age. You can google search for a listing of Ball logos, and that will tell you the age of the jar. I've got some extremely old ones that I will never part with. They were used by my great grandma, then my grandma, then my mom, and now me. Precious!

Hey! Congratulations on your accomplishment so far. I can see what attracted you'll to this house. It is so like the house I lived in about 69 years ago in upstate NY. My Dad would plaster the latch walls and I would pick it back out until he looked to see what I was doing!! It also had like two doors in each room and built-in closets. It also had a scary attic. The barn was my favorite play place. One of the reasons that I recognize so many things at your house. I can almost smell things as you go through them. Thanks for sharing. Linda from NC.

Hi. Just about 16 mins - that box of metal parts that you thought were dairy- those are parts to coffee pots - percolator style coffee pots. Also- the jars with the red and white star on lid - besides peanut jars could be instant coffee jars. Funny so much coffee! The grinder on the board with the draw- it’s for grinding coffee beans.

We had an Alaskan homestead. Canning was a way of life. Mayo jars ,the rings and lids work on them. Maybe the Maxwell jars too. Wow, you found some neat stuff! At least you know they did a lot of canning, most likely that's why there were so many mayonnaise jars there. I remember when I used to help my mother-in-law can tomatoes, she always kept her used mayo jars to use if she didn't have enough Mason jars. So each year when she bought rings & seals, she bought extra for the mayo jars to. I might be wrong, but I think you can only buy mayo in plastic jars now, so you might want to keep one of the jars. Loved the hand pump and the big kettle pots. Every time I loose power because of a storm, that's when I wish I had a hand pump some where, so I can just pump the water when need, instead of having to fill containers!

At 16 minutes what you wondered about is parts of a coffee percolator. The first part you held was what you put the coffee grounds inside and then put the lid on top. Then that part with the coffee inside rests on top of the stem part you held. All of that stands upright inside the metal coffee percolator and a lid with a small glass top goes on. You add water of course inside the pot, place it on the stove with the lid shut and as the coffee begins to heat, it will perk and you can see it peeking through the glass top. Coffee is ready when the coffee is brown and has perked a while and is hot. It smells really good. Try it.

That first box of glass goods is worth a small fortune. You had some good quality paper lampshades there. Pretty door knocker, those 2 cauldrons were in great shape. The star lidded bottles are Sanka instant coffee jars. Perkolater coffee pot insides in that box of metal parts. All those ball jars and other mayo and coffee jars are worth money. I Loved all the glass lamp shades too.

Wow all of those cool antiques you should save, clean and once barn is restored build a room off the barn for a small antique museum? Just a weird thought lol or decorate some of the rooms in the house later👍🏻😁✌🏼

The box with the things you think are for dairy is actually for the old percolator stove top coffee makers. Google them. Those are keepers!

I see many people left comments telling you what things were.... I had to laugh when you found the box of COFFEE POT items and called them something else! But hey, if you didn’t grow up during that time when it was used, you wouldn’t know! Guess I’m giving my age away! LOL!!!! You kids did a great ....dirty... job! Awesome achievement getting that cleaned out! Some nice finds too! 👍👍

I didn’t catch the live, but just watched the replay. That was awesome! I love digging through old stuff to find treasures. There was a lot of cool stuff in there! That’s amazing that you found a guy that likes old things like you do. I don’t think there are many young people interested anymore. I hope I’m wrong. My grown kids aren’t really interested in my piles of stuff. Maybe my great grandkids some day will be sorting through it all like this and wondering why I had sooooo many canning jars! Actually, I have a lot more than this because I can everything from my garden and orchard, just like those people probably did. Or their servants. Thanks so much for taking us along!

There are many people like me! It definitely takes someone with patience and an inspired mind. You have to be willing to get dirty and get rid of the bad to find the good

The Singer box was full of percolator coffee pot baskets and stems. Often you can find of coffee pots that don't have the stem and basket parts. I'll bet you could sell those or donate them to a thrift store. Wow! there were some very cool collectables and antiques in that room. And the old root cellar is very cool.

Clear rectangular dish with box of jars was for the refrigerator. Before pull out drawers they had those different sizes of dishes to use in refrigerator. The wooden boxes are worth more money than old hammers etc. you can pick up old tools at any flea market most for 1.00 a piece. Old sprayer interesting. Old croquet set might be worth a little to someone who collet old toys. Those little kettles were they cast iron or something lighter. Cast iron is the real deal that people collect. You were right to bad the cast iron light was broken but you might be able to find a lamp shade for it at a flea market or eBay. The lamp shades on those light are very fancy I think they have those prisms on them. That bag and red metal object was an old vegetables duster..I think...
