Them old bed springs threw me back to my young years when we had friend's who had a cottage and they had a couple of old bed springs us kids would have rope tied on them we pulled them through the water to clean the bottom of the lake it pulled out all the weeds and everything that had to be cleaned up out off the bottom.

I have and old porcelain bed pan I keep as decoration and its filled with change.

I’ve watched every episode up to this point. Love the doors, hardware, etc., basically the keeping of all the old components of the house. The floors, baseboards, and crown molding caps it all off well. Question, was there an effort to restore all of the fireplaces in the home? Especially the ones that were bricked over and/or closed off?

There is nothing wrong with being left handed. My MGM, mom and one aunt are left handed. There are 8 of us grandchildren and none of us are left handed. There are 9 great grandchildren. 6 are left handed, 2 are right handed and the youngest is an infant so it’s too early to tell currently. Lol!

I’m so glad you’re going through everything because you have a fortune with all those old items. The stuff you don’t want to keep yourselves please get reprisals on it all because they could be worth a lot. You maybe able to sell them for money to invest back into your restoration!

Great video. Love the house. We purchased a home two years ago that was built in 1909. I see so many similarities. We have the door knobs with the key holes also. Same kitchen cabinets but they had moved them to the mudroom and put new cabinets in the kitchen. I love those old white cabinets!! We also had all of the bright colors going on hot pink rooms purple lime green! I hope you post more updates as you fix it up!

I don't know if you can read comments anymore. This is a fabulous renovation. I know you're somewhere in western VA. I'm in Richmond. Do you know the name of the wall color? What brand is the white trim paint? It has a nice sheen.
