Well farming pre78’ I remember open station tractors or tractor with no cabs and windows open dust swirling around planting loading planter with bags getting out every few rounds checking boxes digging in the field and making sure planter was planting. Filling up grain drills with bags lots of bags.

Always amazes me how many acres these large planters are capable of covering in a day. Light years different than our 4 row narrow planter and 20x7 drill. Despite regular rock-picking, seems like more magically appear. Sure don't need to trash a piece of high $$$ machinery when encountering one during field operations.

Thanks for another great video Brian. It was really interesting and informative and enjoyable. Thanks for talking about your Sunday sponsorship. Sounds like a real good product and easy to apply. Doing great on putting Your seed corn in the ground Brian. That Massey planter has done an excellent job for you this year. No big breakdowns which is nice this year. Hang in there Brian. You have definitely been on the go with corn planting this year. Soybeans next i suppose but I think I remember you saying you had done some already. About it I guess. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Worked on a farm as a kid in the 70s but I’m a city boy and omg the tech is amazing. Farm boys are supposed to be dumb, this is blowing the hell out of that idea. This is the coolest stuff ever. That Fendt tractor (I hope I spelled it right) first looks badass and it turns out it is badass. I drove a ‘massy’ on the farm as a kid and I understand they are brothers. Oh, I run a software company and I look at that equipment and farming is now a leader in sophisticated self-managing and guidance software, the only thing I know ahead is aviation. This guy could fly a 747! I’m not saying it’s not still hard work but in the 70s your back was your most important tool, today it’s clearly your brain. For Memorial Day my profile picture is my uncle Charles who died in the Arden forest in the cold and buried in France during WW2. From d-day on the beach day 1 to the battle of the bulge he fought with his band of brothers. Peace to Charles and every farming family that suffered the same, farmers send their sons at a higher rate then any other segment of our population. Thank you.

Isn't cross polination a problem with planting so close together? Seems it would give you a false value.
@MorganOtt-ne1qj3 ай бұрын
The pollination would only affect the seed for the next generation. The hybrid will yield what it's bred for F1. The seed companies use hand pollination to get the hybrids they sell.

I 've used Sunday products for three years. I have two female Chocolate Labs and I don't want them running on any chemicals that may harm them. My lawn looks beautiful. I highly recommend the product. Female dog urine during the Winter months kills dormant grass. In the late Fall I liberally apply Sunday Pet Patch that pretty much eliminates brown spots from the urine in the Spring.
