Thanks for another great video Zack and Becky on editing and Dad and Jim and onyx. Got everyone working today. It was an interesting video and enjoyable to watch. And of course the two dogs, almost forgot them. Changing sickle bars on a bean header is a long and tedious task for sure , been there done that myself many times. Everyone was pitching in so the job got done in good time. Now is the time to check everything over before actually using the combine in the field. Good to see Jim helping out. He is looking good. Seems to have dropped some weight. Good for you Jim. Getting the spray trailer winterized is important to prevent water from freezing in the winter. RV antifreeze is the best to use. Dad did a great job with that. Another job done. Way to go Nate, dad. Looks like things are coming together for harvest season bring just around the corner. Way to go everyone. One year when i was around 17 i was picking up swaths and i heard a bunch of banging in the old 1660, thought i picked up a rock bit turned out that i picked up a gooseneck pry bar that had fallen off of the tractor when dad went over the opening swath from out old versatile swather when he was swathing with our old 30ft pull type swather. The gooseneck was curved the same as the rotor and it came out the back of the combine and did no damage at all. Got lucky on that one. Since then we have gone all straight cut and have upgraded a pretty fair amount to a 7120 case and a 2188 case but we have picked up a fair amount more acres since then as well.

I use to like watching this channel also for the same reasons and was happy that I found a channel that focused on farming that left out swearing so my grandkids can watch with me, but I will have to stop watching now. Yes, I’m sure they hear it at school, but I also don’t have to let them watch shows that now include swear words and use God’s name in vain. I’m sure that appeals to some of your audience members, but for me, no thanks.

@@Wondering-ns2ce What are you referring to? This channel has always been nothing but family friendly! That said, aren't you being a touch overly sensitive here??? With all this channel promotes (strong family ties, hard work ethics, helping your neighbors, supporting worthy causes, etc. etc. etc.), don't you think the positive messages your grandkids gain by watching far outweigh the single instance (or two) that you took offense to??? I think that's known as throwing out the baby with the bathwater there chief! I urge you to rethink your response to whatever you may have heard. No one is perfect. Including you. Should your grandkids be banned from spending time w/ you simply because you may have cussed once 40 years ago after hitting your thumb with a hammer? By your logic, that answer would be "yes". That big Sukup bin and new mix flow dryer in the background of you final shot is awesome. The key to running a successful business is investing into it. You have been dealt some serious set backs in the last few years. However you have also made some serious upgrades to replace what was lost. It really gives meaning to the slogan Build Back Better! When you look at all the work that YOU have accomplished on your farm It’s pretty amazing. So in the end it’s not who’s in charge at that top that determines your destiny! It’s you! I still would have taken that interview with Tim Waltz. He gets you and JD doesn’t even know who you are. Funny how saying no because of a political party can work against you. Can you imagine if you said yes and later been given a seat at the policy table for doing so?😊 I have been a long time fan and a subscriber since you were in the hundreds.
