this is why Indie/AA developers piss me off because they don't give a shit about console, they clearly favor making games for PC and only care about optimising for PC. I don't want to sit at a computer desk to play my games, I'm a casual gamer and prefer to sit on the couch and play it on a simple console and not have to screw around with PC settings just to play games

Can confirm Series X locked at 4k 30....with major frame drop jittering and texture pop-in. Looks fine when you are standing still. This is a deal breaker for me if it's not addressed. So disappointing. Play FS22 X version at 4k 60 w no issues. As you said, it's basically 2025 with current gen hdwr, no excuse for giants to do this.

This was a game I was looking forward to. I tend to only play sandbox games, like Two-Point, RDR2, Snow Runner etc. But I'm so disappointed. Snow Runner looks better, and runs at a smooth 60fps on PS5, with better ground deformation than FS 25. There's also that stupid circular draw distance limitation which hasn't improved since FS 22. It's more noticable when moving around in the elevated build mode. Textures pop in so obviously. It's a shame that the main console player - MrSealyp didn't mention this with his early access. Seemed he was the only one with early access on console.

I honestly do not understand. Playing FS22 @ 60fps was so visually pleasing. When I went back to older FS games it felt horrid to look at them in 30fps, so the fact the new game is back to 30 is a disgrace. Not to mention the fact these consoles were all promoted as being capable of playing games at 4k 120fps… more lies from these companies just so we buy their products. I’m sick of it tbh. The state of the gaming industry is an embarrassment right now and has been for the last few years

My disappointment for this game is immeasurable! How can a 3 year old game FS22 look and play better. That had stable 60FPS - jeez even the ps4 version looked and played better than 25 on PS5! I would watch a daggawin video on 22 and then hop into the game and it would look the same - I’ve spent the past week watching his 25 videos and then hopped onto the game launch day super excited after spending £75 for the season 1 version and it looks and plays like a bloody PS3 game!! HOW CAN IT GET WORSE THAN 3 YEARS AGO! And because it’s PS5 Sony have a zero refund policy! I’ve seen comments on forums saying it’s your own fault for having a console and it would never play like on PC - I’m sorry but cyberpunk? Gran turismo 7, FFVII rebirth - I understand these are AAA games with HUGE gaming developers and funding but if giants is gonna release a sub standard game because they don’t have the funds to release a game of the quality of a AAA game then don’t charge the price of a AAA game. I could go on forever - guess I won’t play FS for the next 3 years unless I go back to 22

I've just spent the last 8 months playing fs22 with micro stutter that came out of nowhere it was the only game that did it on my PS5. I'm just chuffed that's now gone.

The pro only enhances games specified to do so. The rest are just the same as on ps5 and often can’t handle 4k 60

I'm glad you were able to. On Steam it's much easier to do such things, though on Steam you can play this at 60 fps so long as your PC can handle it. Me mainly playing on console, it's rare to be able to get refunds. I'm going to stick with it, just because I want to see how the game progresses if at all. Gives me an extra reason to make a video.
