Biggest jump in graphics? Definitely not. The biggest jump in graphics was 2013 to 2015. But just like 2015, 25 has a struggle in options availability. The 22 library felt expansive with lots of options from a lot of brands. The only thing I will say is that the worker has seen a massive upgrade, but still it is difficult, for example good luck getting a weeder on the worker. Or getting it to start in a place you want.

@stevangucu522 the 22 was good as well. The splitting of tractors in seperate categories made looking for them easier especially considering the vast amount. The 25 doesn't need that though. The worst one in my experience is that of 15 where if you even clicked twice it would buy so comparing was too difficult. After that 2013. But 2013's PDA was really nice.

I think Giants have become overly reliant on the Modding Community too make their game playable. I got fed up with it last night and stop playing. Now thinking about getting a refund, wait a few months for the mods and then buy a pre owned copy.

They added forestry with half the trees unable to fit in the largest equipment with no good logging areas. Not to mention how the maps are portrayed as large but half of the roads they show implemented are blocked off making for a map that looks huge but isnt.

Yes and the fact that this isn’t talked about enough. I mean as a Versatile fan I’m very upset. We’re missing New Holland equipment all over the board including the T9 and front loaders. I get that this may be include in future updates but I wish KZbinrs brought this to light more. It’s hard to see my favorite tractor in FS22 in the Versatile 4WD be taken away and still enjoy the game… just because they expand the game to include more crops doesn’t mean they should get rid of tractors we love to do so…

Yes, and the vehicles, that does exist are badly balanced. You gut a ton of the largest equipment available on the market, but almost nothing to build a smal farm up. The smallest combine is a massive 6m.

Not only did it bring much better graphics but it also brought forestry, tons of new equipment, New Holland joined the game, and a lot of other great stuff as well. That was the single biggest jump in my opinion but we've had a lot of big upgrades over the years as well.

I would like them to implement the Cattle and Crops soil mechanics somehow into the game. Fog is nice, but I would like to have a more rich in-depth game play. Have seeds of the same crop have different varieties that require your soil to have the right growing environment for that specific variety. Trying to plant a native tropical crop in Norway may get you a 10% yield. Getting stuck in the mud is something farmers have to contend with, but not make it as intense as Snowrunner. For instance, trying to pull a large wagon with a small tractor with skinny tires after a large storm would have a higher percentage for getting stuck vs a Case Quadtrac. I would like the rear buttons on the back of the tractor be usable. Barn cats would be cool to keep rats away.

If there would be a feature to get stuck, it should also show different plants, that indicate wet spots, so a good player could prevent getting stuck. Just like in real life.

Look more Giants propaganda. Your own clips show that FS17 has better sounds for most part or they didn’t change at all. The ground deformation should be renamed to field deformation as it doesn’t really exist outside the field. Even on the field it makes no sense how a belt system leaves deeper ruts than tracked tractor. The most disappointing part that this major selling feature doesn’t exist in MP. You say Forestry? Ha, they completely broke it. Want flashlight and 3rd person? Good luck with that. Speaking of flashlight and lighting system. How it’s more powerful than truck lighting with bigger and longer cone of light?

Sometimes I really wish I could have "legacy" AI...I just want the hired help to go back and forth without setting up and watching the AI drive around the field and even stopping before the work is done. They need to rework palet physics. Palets stacked move during transport on a palet fork, and coming from a certified fork lift operator IRL, the palet fork physics suck and its extremely dufficult to line up palets correctly. I cant wait long enough for an Auto-Loading palet trailer to be modded in.

I absolute love this game. The 3D soil is a gamechanger, everything else a bonus. The menus though...not so much. Building, painting - it's getting clunky, landscaping better, and the chainsaw got a not necessary re-done... But complaining feels bad - this is without a doubt the best farming game ever made, and the fact that they allow modding can never be a bad thing. A few patches to stabilize the game, and it's a top scorer in my book.

The 3D soil is rubbish in my oppinion. Its to unrealistic and looks worse, than the old tracks. For example you sink in on a gravel road. Thats not happening in real life. And if you would sink in that much in reality you would stop working until its dry.

The "Skin Lines" feature is great, but incomplete. You need an addition option "Start at Line". Hire a worker with "Work on Headlands" = off and "Skin Lines" = 1. Hire a second worker with "Work on Headlands" = off and "Skin Lines" = 0 and you know why an option "Start at Line" would be useful. I don't even care about creating a feature request that will be closed with "no change required".

The standard vehicles are badly selected tho. There are very feew smal and medium siced mashines and to many large ones. Mods will not allways match the quality of the standard mashines, so they cant make up for the missing mashines. Giants has to deliver alot to make this game worth buying. So far the only real argument for me is the worker and the ai trafic.
