When I was a kid on the farm, I was continuously amazed at my father's ability to literally fix anything--he never called in the dealer or anyone else. You remind me of him. High compliment, in my eyes.

The 630F and header cart are still available! Less than 1000 acres since rebuild by JD dealer. We won't discuss the guy that planted over the obstacles that were the cause of the rebuild... 😯🤣🤣 Great video, Andy. There's a lot more to a Flex Head than it looks like. God Bless y'all!

I used to keep about a foot or so of cutter bar. If the bar ever broke i just spliced that small peice over top using the longer bolts that usually bolt down the knife drive on the ends of the knife. Up and running in 15 minutes. To prevent cutter bar breaks. Keep all guards straight. If you cant slide the cutter bar out easily by hand, youve got some work to do.

Sickle bars just plain suck when removing and installing. We used wooden handled hammers to push ours in and out, easier to replace a wooden handle than a digit. Andy, I could be wrong and it may be just your camera but, your reel looks like it sits lower on the left side than the right? Despite some of the issues you've had, you guys are working like a well oiled system and this is how things get done fairly quickly.

As I'm sure you know, ... that bent cutter bar now has the "memory" of being stretched at the bend, and no matter how straight you make it, the tendency to bend again at that point, will always be there.

When I see you writing about another channel, I can tell you that you have never done ag in practice, most likely only behind a screen on FS! Both channels are completely different situations and operations, a good farmer recognizes both situations and can have a lot of respect for both. Not the dumber farmers and keyboard knights, they will rip people off. Just think about that!

@@MorganOtt-ne1qj I'm not saying that you should watch that channel, I don't watch it that often myself. But all situations are different, whether you enter a well-functioning company, whether you have been in business for years or you are just starting a new company for yourself. Anyone who makes his or her own money in an allowed way deserves respect in any way, everyone does it their own way. Who are the keyboard knights to judge about that? And just look around you, it is always the bad farmers and ignorant people who immediately make a judgment about how someone else works. They should first work on your own knowledge and attitude!
