I know you don't like Yamai being around, but I feel the opposite. People like her you want to keep close specifically so you can keep an eye on them and know what they're doing at all times. It's when you don't see them for a while that you really need to worry. Usually because that means they're up to something you're not gonna like.

It's a fun dynamic they're building with Yamai and Nakanaka. I loved how they called each other "otaku" and "basic". Some people say Netflix doesn't do a good job with captions, but they nailed that exchange. And, of course, Najimi came out on top of the exchange, because they're the *real* "Komi whisperer" of the group. Tadano may be able to read Komi's mind, but as we see again in this episode, any time Najimi does something, Komi wants to copy it.
