The boys deserve to be commended in this episode for being somewhat “respectful” when imagining what it would be like to date one of the girls in their class. All the girls (except you, Yamai, not you) have attractive and unique features.

@@Anino_Makata It was exactly because of Agari that I wrote respectfully in quotation marks. While I'm grateful that they are much less degenerate (they could have imagined Agari wearing a skimpy swimsuit on a beach or pool date, for example), but even with Yamai they went for the girls' psychological characteristics and only with Agari the appeal it was just in her physical attributes. They deserve praise, but they weren't perfect, I admit.

Even Najimi and Tadano have shown interest in other people over the years, and these three boys certainly have more than just Komi on their minds. But Yamai and Nakanaka only ever show interest in Komi.

You can say they were "just flirting" with him if you want, but that still highlights how *everyone* in the show has flirted with/shown interest in someone other than Komi...except for Yamai and Nakanaka. Until they show interest in male characters, what's wrong with headcanoning them both as gay?

Komi-san may be godly, but I'd rather date Nakanaka Omuharu.
