fist time i watch this episode is only think it was a Super Smash bro reference, never notices the Frieren one (in my defence and a lot of people this come out before Frieren was popular), and i think they can use it because they are own by the same publisher. apart from that, have you notices how Komi loves so much Tadano´s dress she keep using it all the time? besides love how Tadano speend all the time teaching Komi how to play instead of focusing on the game, god that such a green flag, thats why he is best boy.

Oh yeah, it is frieren. Man, this is why rewstch are fun with reactors. Plus, i thought it was a sorta zelda reference. Since i didn't know about Frieren at the time

Yeah, but in the manga Komi's character is more of a Zelda reference. I guess they changed it to Frieren in the Komi anime which came out 2021.
