@@windwalker5765 they actually confirmed that no cg or rotoscoping was used for the dance scene. They just really adhered to the reference footage they shot. Truly has to be a passion project for the animators over at madhouse

2:37 I think they do get breaks. There are frequent timeskips in this anime. And we only get to see the parts of their journey that have any significance. As you pointed out, even Stark has been with them for a year now. That's a lot of traveling we didn't really see.

17:48 I lovelovelove seeing Stark and Fern gain these irreplaceable human experiences, such moments that could never come from just living as they would have without going on this Hero’s Journey Remix. Seeing them smile and dance as fake nobles…they can laugh at this story for the rest of their days, along with telling of the Quest to Heaven that they accomplished with the Heroic Mage of legend. They are truly living a life unlike most any other.

From what I understand about curses and humanity spells, humanity spells can be studied and modified. That's why it is interesting. It can be broken down and remade into newer spells. Which is why Frieren has an endless journey of collecting them. For Goddess magic, they're fixed and noone knows the actual breakdown behind it. Its probably ancient and untangible. If its only limited magic it can be boring (For elves mostly).

Goddess magic is uninteresting to Frieren because it's rule breaking. Demon magic generally follows rules that she can pick apart, which is close to her favorite thing to do.

Idk why but i really want for Stark and Lord Oden to give each other a farewell hug between them and act as a son and father for the last time 😭😭😭😭 like give Lord Oden chance to apologize to his "son" which are Stark and let Stark have a warm embrace of a "father" which is Lord Oden himself. I really want for Stark to keep contact with them because they are basically family (same family line)

I don't really think Fern deserves Stark. She's incredibly immature, even if she believes she's the mature one. If he had done or said even half the things she has to him since they met instead, it would seem like the most unhealthy relationship and I doubt people would be very into it. Most problems between them come from her and the way she reacts to things. She insults him, berates him, dismisses him, calls him a pervert for the most mundane things ever, but the blame somehow always ends up being shifted to Stark, which he accepts and apologizes to her for, even when he hasn't done anything. If he wasn't so forgiving and allowed her to be such a child all the time, none of this would last. She's incredibly lucky to have someone like him around, because I think most normal people wouldn't put up with it for weeks, let alone a whole year.

What an immature viewpoint and all that AFTER you already said it yourself. Fern is a CHILD, she is immature and moody. Give her time to mature. Nobody was perfect from the very start, not you, not me, nobody. We all were, in our own way, little brats at some point and anyone who denies that is a liar. She never had the chance to interact with kids her own age, she didn't have siblings or anything like that.
