Lee was a normal guy and Ryan was probably a lot more exciting. He was more of a bad boy. It's a shame but it was her life to do with as she pleased. She did leave him when she caught him with a 25 year old on Valentines day.

Neither could have imagined she'd become the It Girl of the 1970s. I agree with you that Lee was an old school guy who wanted to be the breadwinner and have a wife at home when he got home. Not a woman gone for 12-14 hours and getting pulled in sixteen directions day after day. I can see how he'd get fed up after a while.

I don't think it was acting, Anyone who knew her, thought she was the nicest person they ever met, Very loyal to those around her, and loving. But, if you watch the time she was on the Merv Griffin show, you can see or tell from her comments, that she wasn't that thrilled about the show. She enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the acting world, and used it to her advantage. I think she was more interested in movies etc. She was very talented sculptor and artist, She had a degree in Art History.)

I know everyone thinks that it was Lee that wanted her to quit the show but actually it wasn't she wanted to quit the show because she wanted to go on to do movies she wanted him to quit the $6 million man and for them to go on and do movies a lot of people don't know that but that's the real truth but they could not get him out of his contract because they offered him a lot more money so he stuck it out which I think was really smart because he went on to do a lot more parts because of that and no one else could've done that show but him.
