Farthest Frontier is beautiful and it's great to see the devs are still adding content. This one has tons of potential. Surprised to see you not playing the new Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode release today, though.

They're not really adding content. The game play loop remains the same, all you're getting is a reiteration of the same mechanics. The most content they added was back when they added relics, and that idea was player submitted.

Thanks for the insights. Game looks great. This game has a huge learning curve. I keep getting to a point to where I have no idea what I am suppose to build next. Great game though, I hope they keep working on it. Great starter video.

Is the map static, or is it procedurally generated everytime you start a new game? The ox - wagon animations / physics are wonky. I saw some graphic clipping early on.

Then you should know that the game is essentially the same. It's still buggy, it's still janky, it still performs poorly, and the game play loop has remained wholly unchanged.

i was waiting for the 1.0 but i bought this game last night afterall haha! my town is looking fantastic already 😁 btw first thing in the morning, i switched R with TABs i strongly reccomend 🤣

It plays really well on Steamdeck. I have a mobile monitor, mouse and keyboard though. Runs great.
