The weather is horrible and compared to California it's so boring. As bad as the politics might be I had to move back to California. The good thing about California is that it's huge, and there's only a couple areas that are bad, and I live nowhere near there.

Nah. I normally love Jordan Peterson but Elon could barely finish a thought in this interview, even when speaking about the literal loss of his son... and it was incredibly frustrating. JP: 'So why did you do 'X' Elon: 'Well it's because of 'insert beginnings of well thought out and very interesting answer....' JP: 'Cuts Elon off half way and finishes his sentence for him with something other than what Elon actually intended to say, then abruptly changes topics before Elon has a chance to complete his thought' Repeat.

For those complaining and thinking Petersen was interrupting Musk, look closely at the video. It is not what you think it is. It (the video) is actually heavily chopped up and edited. It seems the editor didn’t want to waste any part of the video with “silence” and filler words, just so the video is concise.

Thank you Elon Musk, Innocence may be the most valuable time of a human being. It doesn't last long. We have to value and protect it at all cost. As a former worker in an emergency shelter for children, I've seen the devastation that abuse and neglect take on a young person that is supposed to be living their INNOCENT YEARS. By innocences, I mean without thought of sex, without pain of sex, without retaliation for speaking up, without thought of satisfying another, without thought of the end, without permanence (whether thru scars physically, emotionally, and or spiritually). Yes, every person has endured pain. However, when you inflict on the youth- it may be stuck with them for life. Some use it to help others; but, most are overcome by their pain into adulthood. Please don't stop speaking up for our children Elon Musk. You are needed.

I watched the interview in whole , and JBP was like a starving kid told he could have some candy; incessant non-stop, and almost rudely interrupted Elon before he was finished with his answer. I appreciate that JBP interviews well, taking the convo the direction he wants to know more about, yet not letting go of a concept he inquires more deeply about. But bad manners can ruin the whole thing. It was a great interview with an interesting guest, tainted slightly by the eagerness of his overzealous interrogatories. But JBP still is a 9/10 host🙂

@BearBig70 all I need say is, if you're under the false pretense that many who publish to KZbin wouldn't cut and alter the timing of a video to favor one side or discriminate the other, then you're painfully naive. Most who publish in KZbin now, especially when involving such influential people as Jordan and Elon, will edit the videos in such a way to bring favor or disdain to the side they dislike or disagree with. As well as taking into thought, that those people would be considered by many (the media and extreme left mainly) as "dangerous radicals with harmful words". Don't take my word, I'm a stranger, go find it out for yourself, all the information backing what I said is easily available.

I find it odd that more people don't notice how often people "interrupt" each other while conversing. Not everyone does it but a lot of people do. With talking to some people, if you don't interrupt them you'll never get a word in, and then they'll wonder why you're so quiet. This is just Dr. Peterson's personality. He has too much to say, and it may not be the ideal "interview etiquette" for everyone, but frankly considering the quality of the input, we all benefit from it. Also notice how unbothered Dr. Peterson is when he's the one who's interrupted.

Literally everyone is cherry picking or misrepresenting the data to suit their world view. This notion that liberals are smart because they look at all the evidence and conservatives are stupid because they do not is absolutely absurd. Liberals are by far the most arrogant condescending bootlickers in this country and liberals are the problem. If conservatives don't stand up for the liberal lies, delusion, and atrocities we will lose America.

In my culture, there's a joke about this exact situation - as it so well known to the people in Eastern Europe. Here is the adapted version: The Wolf and the Fox are bored and looking for some fun. They start talking: Wolf: "I'm bored. Let's go beat up the Little Rabbit!" Fox: "Good idea, I'm bored too! But we need a reason. Why should we beat him up?" Wolf: "If he's wearing a cap, we'll beat him up for that. If he's not, we'll beat him up for that too." Fox: "Sounds perfect! Here he comes!" The Little Rabbit comes hopping down the path, without a cap. So, they beat him up badly. The next day, the Wolf and the Fox are bored again and talking: Wolf: "I'm still bored. Let's go beat up the Little Rabbit again!" Fox: "Good idea, I'm bored too! But we need a new reason this time. How about we ask him for a soda? If he gives us a Coke, we'll beat him up. If he gives us a Pepsi, we'll beat him up for that too." Wolf: "Great idea! Here he comes!" The Little Rabbit comes hopping down the path again, all bandaged up from the previous beating. Wolf: "Hey, Rabbit, give us a soda!" Little Rabbit: "What kind do you want? Coke or Pepsi?" Wolf: "Look at this smart-aleck, he's not wearing a cap again! Get him!"

so have seen quite a few comments on Jordan Peterson interrupting Elon in this clip. I think both are exceptionally gifted individuals, but Jordan Peterson is a very passionate person (can see it as he gets emotional talking about Elon's loss of his son. I too can get irritated by interruption, but I don't believe it is done out of any malicious intent. I believe Jordan truly sees these talks as lively, heart to heart discussions (not interviews) between two individuals with similar thought process. He isn't showing off, he is engaging, much like when you have a conversation with your best friend about a mutual subject...there is a back and forth, and one doesn't always let the other finish a train of thought before thinking and wanting to understand an aspect of it. Either way, what an interesting exchange between the two.

Meritocracy needs to REPLACE political campaigning ..that absolute timewaste of "bragging rights" candidates are obsessed with. Who needs to hear same conflicts of opinion from loudest challengers in the bull fight? Therefor a AmericaPAC needs to improve visibility of WORK, what a candidate produces NOT directs. Who wrote the script is infinitely more important, than the vocal effort put in bragging about how they struggle to implement it. A timeline visibility of individual hours that went in to create a better policy Vs dissipated hours talking about it. In this modern age, where overcrowding seems to generate poverty, why allow gross waste on globetrotting campaigns without merit of useful WORK charted on a filtered (as constructive) public forum website. He criticized democracy as absurd, believing it allowed incompetents to gain power. Socrates believed democracy enabled demagogues to mislead people by appealing to emotions over logic, endangering society's security and prosperity. In democratic assemblies, rhetoric often overshadowed facts, with orators manipulating emotions.
