Modern compact SUVs are not SUVs as they are FWD. Sure they are light and agile due to their unibody construction but FWD man! FWDs are cars/hatchbacks/MUVs/Faux SUVs or whatever you want to call them but not SUVs. At least Mahindra is still offering a car that is RWD and body on frame - the real formula for a proper SUV by definition. So, one should appreciate it!

T10 trim should have had the jump seats removed and provided rear seat reclining option along with arm rest. Buyers at this price point will not consider stuffing people or children in the unsafe rear seats and wud prefer a more comfortable rear seat instead

In ASEAN ncap ciaz scored 4 out of 5 stars ,so in foreign markets , the ciaz which are sold have nice built quality but in India due to too much of cost cutting by maruti , it comprises with the quality both exterior & a bit of interior as well

Third row seats is useless I agree; but rear windows are not actually useless; that much opening is enough to let the air flow out of the car and hence it removers air saturation in the last row.

Next reviews should be done by u , Hindustan Contessa Premier Padmini ( since u live in Mumbai , u can get it easily) Mahindra Bolero Tata Sumo Bajaj Chetak Rajdoot Bike Old Mahindra Scorpio , old Hindustan Motors cars ( Hindustan 10 - India,s first ever car , Hindustan 14 & Hindustan Baby ) & Hindustan Ambassador diesel version Old Hindustan motors cars ( including contenssa ) u will probably get from Tamil Nadu & Kerela but the Ambassador diesel u will get very easily in Kolkata but u should review it in Kolkata Rajdoot bikes mostly from Bihar & the rest u can get it from anywhere in India Plz do it 🙏 I love ur reviews

BOF chassis is not the culprit for the weight. Engineering is. Mahindra is getting there though. It's Marazzo is not exactly monocoque, measures 4.6m but weighs only as much as the tuv300. Unfortunately Marazzo is FWD. Which is why the RWD tuv300 does make a strong case for itself. Provided MnM manages to get tuv's weight down to 1200kgs. That with a 3 pot ISG assisted petrol mills mated to CVT gearbox would create a car tailor made for India.
