Once again, the accompanying music really flows well with all the great pictures.

So glad you enjoy it. For those who see this and want more info, the music is original piano music by self taught composer performer Mark Bulmer. info at www.markbulmer.com

its so fascinating to see how far we have come yet what marvels we accomplished even 100 BC or earlier and still hold up today. Astonishing and eerie yet humbling and somber. I love this channel!

As a lifelong resident of Rahway, NJ it saddens me to see the photo of Nikola tesla @ 3:10. Financially and physically he was a poor man.
@AmazingHistoricalPhotos2 жыл бұрын
Sad indeed. One of the most brilliant minds in history and he was taken advantage of in every possible way. It's actually what separates Elon Musk. A great mind and a great businessman. Tesla was an awful businessman
@alonenjersey2 жыл бұрын
@@AmazingHistoricalPhotos Basically tesla was taken advantage by Thomas Edison, whose mind was filled with business knowledge as well as imagination.

The adventure of this ship and its crew is a marvellous story of endurance indeed. From such a desperate situation, Sir Shackleton managed to return with all his men, making him a role model leader in my view. How moving to see his ship.

7:55. And that is how it is depicted in the movie Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr.

I'm a big fan of those two Sherlock Movies. I think Downey played Sherlock more like the books represented him. Guy Ritchie knows how to paint a picture.
