It's very apparent when people are just trying to take someone down because they don't like them, the whole "omg she's overrated we're tired of hearing about her" approach is so transparent. I wouldn't identify as a fan because I only know a few songs but she's clearly put on really polished, grand theatrical performances. You can't really argue with that, it's just a fact.
@RealElongatedMuskrat4 жыл бұрын
@@AnitaST94 haha gaga is another great example of intelligent and nuanced artistry! The difference in my head is that I think gaga has been really conceptual from the get go, her work is like a multimedia art piece, whereas Beyoncé sort of went from a girl group to solo artist that was obviously popular but a bit generic in terms of the kind of music, the videos, etc. Her early solo work is very of its time, it seems, but she's had a bit of a metamorphosis into producing really fascinating work that's like, music and spoken word with cinematic quality videos that feel like a choreographed movie. Gaga's videos are still like music videos to me (not a bad thing at all!) whereas I get a different vibe from Beyoncés.

Red cord looks where B and the dancers are in the water, is i believe a reference to Suspiria movie. I also recommend watching it :) (dance school and witches topic)
