Fashion Dreamer just released.. is it worth the whopping 50$? In this video, I go over everything you can do in Fashion dreamer and touch on where the game lacks.
This is all my opinion! It's okay if you liked the game as I do too. Just not for the amount they are asking.

I'm still hesitating to buy it. Even though I really like the dressing up aspect and I would like to use Fashion Dreamer as a creative outlet (to make art, little online magazines etc.), 50 euros is still a lot for a game that looks half finished. The upcoming updates in the new year look promising (events). But I'm not getting my hopes up, because even when one image looks like a runway, this could also mean a photo-op event. So I think I will just put it on my Christmas wishlist and see if someone's willing to gift me it 😅.

I think Christmas would be a great idea for this game! Right now, it does feel unfinished but I'm hoping the updates do improve it. Even just a little more content and stuff to do would improve this game a million times.

I really wish Nintendo can make another Style Savvy Fashion dreamer feels like a spin off where instead of boutiques it's just being a total influencer modern times hope the reviews can help the developer realize we need Style savvy back!

Clicked on this because I loved style boutique on the 3ds when I was younger and I'm honestly shocked at how little subscribers you have! This video is great and entertaining, keep it up!

I've sunk countless hours into this game already. There are some qol updates i would like, but I'm absolutely obsessed. For me it was definitely worth the price. A note about cocoons, there are different gacha items, and different nocs are more likely to spawn in certain areas. There are also 2 updates confirmed so far, one being in December, which you didn't make clear.

I bought this and I actually really enjoy it! I don't know about other countries but the preorder was decent priced in the UK and the game has kept me engaged for hours, I really like the level of customisation you can have and the amount of different clothes, I do think it can have improvements but overall I think it's an enjoyable fun game !!!

I'm was a huge fan of the Style Savvy games, I still crack open my DS and play it from time to time, and honestly the most recent DS game (I mostly played the Japense edition of Fashion Forward) holds up just fine. I was excited for Fashion Dreamer but I'm not sure if it has that much more that that Fashion Forward doesn't. The graphics are very pretty and it seems like it has a lot more potential when it comes to Lolita fashion (which the previous games were always a little lacking) but that 50 dollar price tag... I could see getting it if it goes on sale, but that's just too much for what it is. I'll probably spend my money on the Baten Kaitos ports which is the same price for two full games. Thanks for the review! As much as I might like, this helped me decide not to get it, at least until it goes on sale.

I bought the game a couple of days ago when it was on sale ad I think it's fun. You can really be creative and the design is very beautiful. But I don't like that it becomes repetetive after some time and has no real story (like you said) so I can't play it for too long in a row. But it's definitely something to play when you want to turn your brain off for a while. I really hope we will get some updates in the future with more content. It would also be nice if the fact that you can play in online mode becomes more meaningful. Right now you are able to only send stickers like "Nice" and "Thanks" which I don't know just doesn't seem to be enough. Thank you for the video. I left a sub and I'm looking forward to more content

I don't think it looks bad by any means! Honestly the only thing stopping me in the price tag. Even if it were just 10 dollars cheaper I'd have it by now, but 50 is too much for the type of game it is.

My one gripe on this game is how vacant and white it is. I wish they had gone with a softer colour. The white is very bright and hurts my eyes. I am seeing more background colours in this video so I have to assume that this changes as you progress?

As you unlock more cocoons there are different environments you can play in. I do though find all the bright lights to also be eye straining.

After getting frustrated with the little options the sims 4 (base game) gave for outfits, this game grabbed my eye for the huge options, THANKS A LOT for the review, I don't know anything about fashion games and never played them. Do you have a reccomendation of a better game?

I'm glad my video was helpful! This is actually my first Fashion game I've played on the switch, just because the switch doesn't have very many options. Most of my fashion game experience has been on the 3DS, which there I would recommend Style Savvy: Styling Star.

There are going to be free updates. They have announced the first 2. It can't be like style savvy because Nintendo owns that ip. This is a marvellous game hence the different premise.

Also, notably, Nintendo and Syn Sophia have a joint ownership of the Style Savvy IP and Syn Sophia was one of the primary developers for Fashion Dreamer. Because of the complications of it, I made sure to refrain from comparing Fashion Dreamer to Style Savvy besides a few jokes. Hopefully this helps!
