I love this! Another one I think about frequently is how there are some fashion girlies who look great, but I would not wear that style. Specifically for me, I try not to get influenced by so-called clean girl style, or quiet luxury style. It can be alluring in how popular it is, but it is not my fashion tribe.

Yess it’s so okay to admire someone’s style and not feel the need to try it!🎀

The influence of consumerism and pressure of friends is the worst when shopping lol

I think this is great advice. I'm trying to be smarter with my money and having clothes i dont wear cluttering my closet so I don't buy clothes now unless I absolutely know I love that piece. I love buying clothes and always have. I only find myself buying clothes I dont love when I'm influenced by other people, youre so right about that.

I love your videos. I think I started thrifting my own clothes somewhere between the ages of 8-10 (~20 years ago 😅) and I’m still able to take away helpful tips and inspiration from your videos. Thanks for posting !

Love this! ❤ You are so right, especially for the last advice! I am still working on not caring what other people think of my fashion choices. I used to watch a lot of hauls and was influenced to buy so many things. I am happy I realized that it was becoming a problem so I unfollowed all of those accounts. I enjoy watching thrift with me videos, styling videos etc. I love thrifting so much! It would be hard for me to go back to "regular" shopping after I discovered how much I enjoy thrifting! 😍
