Okay everyone saying "uh you need to size up for fashion nova" THE WHOLE POINT OF A SIZE CHART IS SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT LOL why are just accepting companies poor sizing? Like oh it's our responsibility to guess which size will actually fit us because they're not reliable, that's not okay. Why are y'all acting like it's her fault when she couldn't have known their sizing would be off, and again, why is it on us to figure this out. It should be the companies responsibilty to tell you how their clothes are going to fit and what size you should get.

Number sizes very depending on where you are buying from. Thats why the measurements are included. For example if I buy jeans at american eagle, a 27 inch waist is a size 4. However if I buy them from fashionova a 27 inch waist is a size 5. This isn't a fair evaluation because she didn't follow the size guide. If she took her measurements instead of basing her size off of other stores, the clothes would have fit.

Fashion Nova sizing comes small, I ordered a dress and i'm a UK 10-12 which is a fashion nova medium and it came like it was a size small!! There is no such thing as a "true" size these days. They are just arbitrary numbers to make people feel better or worse about their bodies. Inches is probably one of the better ways to get fitted for clothing. I can be a size 7 at forever21 and then a size 2 at ny and company. Relying on those numbers instead of the inch measurements are going to lead to wildly different things.

What people fail to realize is 1. sizes are JUNIOR to begin with 2. Majority if not ALL of their clothes are the cheap brands that were bought from Department stores that went out of business 3. If you look at the brands some of them are still being sold in Macy's in the Junior Clearance section. 4. They use the cheapest of fabrics which is why the fit is horrible 5. The clothes used on the models are usually samples made with better quality fabrics I bought from them once to see what the hype was about .... NEVER AGAIN

fashion nova either works or doesn’t, it tends to fit better on people that are curvier, hence why they target them. I do think they need to be more all inclusive- But I mean, it’s like me shopping at H&M, it’s going to be a disaster and it’s not going to work because the clothes aren’t for my body type. i’m a size 13 in american eagle/hollister and forever 21 jeans. i ordered a size 13 in the beach bum jeans on FN and some other things like a top and bottom set, a silk looking dress and a cropped long sleeve shirt. i previously ordered two stretchy dresses the week before and they fit fine. so i decided to order the pieces that i said i ordered. when they arrived NOTHING fit. the package arrived right as i was leaving for work and i was excited to throw and outfit on, but NOTHING FIT. the pants didn’t go past my thighs, i popped a button off the damn crop top, the dress barely went over my head, and the set looked so flea market to me. and i ordered everything a size up. i’m a thick girl but i am not a “fat” girl. no offense to all my other beautiful curvy queens out there. so i gave away all the clothes to my cousin who is 124 pounds... and they fit her perfectly. the size Large clothes i ordered, fit my XS-S cousin perfectly. except for the pants that were too big for her, which fit my SIZE 7 coworker. and i had ordered a size 13. i am highly disappointed that i spent my hard earned money on such half assed clothes. better luck at the flea market

Another thing is that fashion nova carries different brands on the website and in store and that contributes to different sizing across different items. I got three pairs of the classic high waist skinny jeans that had the same exact description but apparently come from different brands. One of the jeans were stretchy, one of the jeans had a medium stretch and the other jeans were stiff with barely any stretch (which was weird b/c they were branded as the same jeans but different colors). Fashion nova does have the measurements for all their clothing types on the chart so I would go with that instead of general sizes.

I’m 5’10 and I order jeans from here all the time. If you’re tall, stay away from pants with a inseam of 29 or below. And if you’re bigger in that area then make sure the spandex is 3% and up. You could get away with 2% if the pants have other stretchy material such as rayon, polyester, etc. you gotta make sure what you’re buying accommodates your body. hope this helps.

Just want to point out that as women regardless of how athletic we are, our bodies will start to grow in areas to prepare our bodies for carrying children. I've worked in the fashion industry for the better part of my life, I can tell that when it comes to sizing it's important to know what stage your body is in. If you are a woman in the age range of 18 through 22 clothing will not be the same it once was for MOST of you. Odd numbers, junior sizing, are for young teenage women that have no hips, no butt, no thighs, no boobs. Misses is the next category for clothing sizes, the numbers are ALWAYS even from 0-18 and sometimes 20, but this is the sizing category most young adult women should be wearing. Misses takes in the account for everything junior sizing doesn't, hips, butts, thighs, and boobs. It's frustrating how we women will crucify clothing companies for their sizing but won't check our bodies. I am a plus sized woman, so I can tell you that there ARE sizing issues with MANY clothing companies but it's not always them. Sounds like for this company they should list the body dimensions of the model in the picture and tell what size she is wearing.

First of all, none of the models on Fashion Nova are 'photoshopped'. It is a real store in California. Check the measurements instead of just the size. You can't buy latex pants in your size and expect it not to be difficult to get on or off, especially if you wear a size 7 in jeans, which are probably skinny. Latex doesnt stretch like a jegging or a legging. Yes it is an online store and it has flaws, but you can't bash them because you ordered the wrong size. I spent $200 on Fashion Nova and everything fit perfect. Also, most of the models are about 5 foot tall, you can't order a pair of pants if youre tall and not expect them to go to your ankles. Most brands are only good at selling/making one type of clothing, just like makeup brands. As for Fashion Nova, it's their jeans. Size up and you'll be fine. Have a nice day.

Im glad you did this video. They deleted my 1 star review as well. Celebrities brag on them because they are receiving free clothes and most likely getting paid....its a real shame. I always shop at fashion nova and only had one issue with them (they were sold out of an item and failed to inform me and took my money anyway 😒). I ordered from zaful and I will never order from them again. I bought two swimsuits that took almost two months to get to my house and then when they finally got to my house, one could have fit my 12 year old cousin ( it was a size ‘large’ btw) and the other fit fine but was so tight on my shoulders; the length was off. Never again for zaful.

It’s not that their sizing chart is off the problem is that the sizing chart is GENERIC and not brand specific if you order from there a lot you’d know each item is from other clothing brands/vendors. For example some fashion nova jeans don’t fit me right but the Nefertiti brand fits amazing and has stretch
