Why I never found Jose to be very authentic is mainly how he changed his voice. He used to never shout in his older videos, but he saw how Alpha M would talk and I guess decided to yell at his viewers instead. He comes off as more of a "preacher" than anything.

He reacting to it is making it seem toxic towards jose protraiting it as toxic masculinity, I watch his videos he doesn't tell you to rude or be selfish in anyday aside he tries and help everyone he can with basic style tips and confidence boost to make yourself feel more comfortable in more awkward situations, yes you have a point of his videos don't make alot of sense but everybody in this comment section is making it seems as if he's a bad guy and telling other 16 - 18 years old to do exactly what he says and thats not the message he tries to bring out :)

I think his channel is generally more aimed at teenagers and high schoolers because that's when used to be mainly watching his channel.. now that I'm a 27 year old working in music/entertainment industry and co-designer for a small comeing up brand (shilouette design and patternmaking) I just be thinking: "This some Bs!" - now I'm like: "never change for anybody, just be yourself and people will accept you!" (I'm a very emotional guy that cries often, most of the time over Anime that is sad or get's me emotionally hooked like "Smile down the Runway" - gosh I cried a lot over the dress designs because they were so beautiful/amazing and I understand this patternmaker's and short model's struggle - and my hobbies are composing music, cooking, drawing and sewing) You should watch "Smile down the Runway" it's an amazing show if you are into fashion and the whole creation/design aspects behind it. =)

What you gotta remember is, Teaching Mens Fashion is just an extension of the KZbin channel Apha M. Not sure if they're still under the same umbrella but all the videos are the same and you can tell TMF took a lot from Alpha M. Same thing with Alex Costa. TMF has changed over tiem and become way more animated than what he used to be like, I get it you put on a show for entertainment but its a bit much. THe video format is always the same too. Top 5 tips with an ad from a sponsor of the video, which is normally featured in the top 5. Rinse repeat. As someone else said, they're more salesman.
