Great video! Would you ever consider doing a video on what you look for in a heel (or shoe in general) that tells you it is both high quality and comfortable enough to wear? I think a lot of us would be interested to hear your thoughts on that subject :)

Kitten heels are mincing steps, Katharine Hepburn no. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the actress, excellent movie, think hourglass figure, pencil skirt just below the knee with a short back vent = mincing steps with Wiggle. Boudoir Mule 'slippers'… and my Latin/Salsa dance shoes. Come to think of it, that's probably why I always feel like lurch on heels walking in them. 🤣

I had a pair of platform wedges with an espadrille design on them. (My brother gave them to his girlfriend, I think, because she wanted them and I didn't wear them ever.) They had fake black flowers over the toes, and the petals of said fake flowers tended to tickle my toes when I walked. Alliteration. Not intended. Anyway, my point for saying the first sentence of this comment is that I learned things! Yay! I'm not a clothing designer, but I like drawing my characters so this allows me to learn more about the shoes I can throw on them. Thanks! ((PS: I love your chuckle at 23:02. I just do. XD ))

Yay learning! I actually have a little side fantasy of working for an animation studio and helping them fix their clothing renderings because so many treat them as an afterthought. Even the big studios will have beautifully rendered hair and a flat, 2D looking sweater.

Zoe Hong Oh my gosh, you actually replied to me! I didn't expect that. I want to be an animator too, but mostly because I just love watching animation KZbinrs and I grew up with animated movies and TV shows. I might've noticed the clothing hitch myself, but what little I've learned about animation is that it can take a long time so some details get left behind unfortunately. Maybe clothing is included in that concept though it feels like it shouldn't. Still I'd love to see some kind of video talking about how you'd fix that clothing rendering problem though (assuming you haven't mentioned so in a video already)!

Yeah, I understand you have to pick a choose what to focus on, but sometimes they'll do an emotional character close up and the collar and shoulders is all flat and wrong and weird looking, it distracts me a lot from the story. So maybe not for every scene but if they're going to get up close, they need to improve the look for the shot. Anyway, yeah, maybe I will do that video...
