Jinjer is a little miracle, a world class four piece unit doing their thing for more than a decade now. Their break through was the live studio version of 'Pisces', a beautiful YT reaction favorit with more than 65 million hits.The early stuff is great, it's more straight in the face, a bit like trash. But if you follow them through the years they have developed a more sophisticated, one of a kind sound and style.They are one of the frontrunners in metal now with a big catalogue loaded with brilliant songs. So at least around 20 tracks to go for:-) Succes and have fun.

Jinjer is Amazing! Tatiana does do her own makeup and wardrobe which is as unique as each jinjer song, also writes her lyrics. Also Roman, Eugene and Vlad are absolutely incredible musicians. Subbed, can't wait to see more.

Tatiana has been with Jinjer since 2009 and they have been touring extensively since then. They have been through several line up changes and none of the founding members remain in the band. I could go on for paragraphs about their history, but it's' more fun to learn in steps just how amazing their back story is. I will say their country of origin is Ukraine. I suggest EVERY song, they really don't have any bad ones.

@@fashionblank That's very strange... both Jinjer and their label, Napalm Records encourage reaction vids (it's pretty much what made the band blow up a few years ago) I've never heard of either of them striking a reaction vid.

@@StuTheMoose Oh it's not them, at least I don't think. It's just a fake copyright claim and YT isn't doing anything about. I can try to dispute it but it takes a month at least to get the results back and it still may not be taken down, but most views come in first 48h so after 30 days dispute doesn't really matter :/

Tati is a Soprano which makes her range even more cool. She can sing so high in her cleans as a Soprano and go so low in her growls. Super cool.

in an interview, Tati said that she started growling when she was 11. She is 36 by now, so she's got 25yrs of experience. She can scream for hours without hurting herself and switch to clean in an instant. She's alto in her clear voice, but she can belt quite high as well. (see Pisces or Teacher,Teacher for examples). She's just an extremely versatile and capable singer. (as are her bandmates, they all are excellent in their field) As a private person, she's rather shy and introverted, you wouldn't believe when you see how she controls the crowd.

Mezzo soprano but with a pretty wide range. She does use false chords. I'm sure she still gets fatigued after shows. Jinjer has an insane tour schedule. In fact as a fan sometimes I worry about them running themselves ragged with all of it. They are from Ukraine. The male members of the band got special permission to travel and play as cultural ambassadors of their country. "Perennial" plants are plants which wither in winter and then come back in the spring. The song is about the seasonal depression many people feel when winter sets in and until the spring brings everything back. If I remember correctly, Tatiana does her own stage makeup. She has at least one YT video on how she does it. Also "perennial" is like the Latin "per annum", it refers to something which repeats on an annual cycle - often used to describe flowering plants. The song describes recurring winter depression, among other things.

I have been a Jinjer fan for about 5 years now, this band does it’s best work in a concert setting live. Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is one of their best performances ever, I would rank it as legendary. I would that Jinjer for me has been a musical adventure into the world of female extreme vocals, other groups that also have similarities, Infected Rain, Butcher Babies, Otep, Archenemy, Spirit Box.

Jinjer with vocalist Tatiana is my favorite Ukrainian progressive metal band of all time. Pisces is one of my favorite songs by this band (I suggest You check it out). When it comes to the name Perrenial I'm not sure if it's made up name of song or what. But if I could give Perrenial some kind of meaning (just based of all lyrics of this song) it would be: death of nature and it's rebirth. I love this kind of music so much, I usually try to give my understanding to my favorite parts of this song. "Under pernament ice we found a breathless paradise. No we're not dead. No You're not dead. Just enjoying coma."- it sends shivers everytime I hear that last long note of this phrase. When it comes to this line everytime I think about it I see most of people I met in my life. People who are enjoying coma of being drunk, drugged or wasted in any other kind of way. It's important to wake up to reality of life, before it's too late. Before the addiction will be a cause of death of addicted person. I know that's some horrific stuff I say here, but I'm a person who wants to speak the truth no matter harsh it might be. Thank You for this reaction. 😃

You seem to be into fashion, & if so, then you'll love Tatiana or that in addition to her vocal talent. She does her own makeup & a lot of her own clothing design (I'm not sure whether that's change recently). As you react to more Jinjer, you'll see that she's very creative & very much a chameleon in this regard - it's often hard to tell that it's the same vocalist in 2 videos, but she always looks amazing. Tatiana has said that clean singing is harder on her voice than growling. She mostly uses false fold technique for harsh vocals, which doesn't damage her vocal chords. She's definitely not a soprano. I couldn't say for sure whether she's mezzo-soprano or a contralto, but I'd guess the former. What I love most about her clean voice is its velvety timbre & its sweetness when she sings softly. It's great for jazz, & Jinjer does find occasions to make use of her gift for just that purpose.

I think Tatiana is a mezzo-soprano? Definitely, although she does occasionally does very fine highs, her voice sits a little lower than the average female voice but not I think as low as alto.
