I have watched her from her beginning & loved all she did. The women in my family were a lot like her in their homemaking. She learned from her upbringing to do well with the little that you have, work hard & to do the right things. Those principles creat a good work ethic & can take you a long way in life. She worked hard & deserved everything that she got. I remember in her first tv shows & how she would create beauty from simple things whether it was a found repaired antique she was working on, an omelette she made & how it was placed & garnished on the plate, taking care of her copper pans or all her baskets that hung in her kitchen or out in her garden with her gorgeous dark dirt planting in her vegetables to use in a veggie dish on the back drop of her lush green lawn. You can always buy quality but Martha knew how to create it. And when you can do that you’re rich on the inside with talent & that was Martha. Talented, naturally gifted & she created beautify all around her in spaces, gardens & homes & even on her shows. And I’ll bet it’s even in the barn. She is & has been such an inspiration. She’s one of America’s treasures. We love you Martha ♥️♥️♥️ God bless & I think Ralph Lauren is the perfect neighbor for you!

Martha Stewart holds a very dear place in my heart. When I first moved to my home 39 years ago I was very lonely. We moved from the city to a very remote area. It was very beautiful but not much to do. Thats when I discovered Martha. Her Thanksgiving special was on TV. From then on, I read and watched everything I could about her. Her taste is impeccable.

I’m a huge fan of Martha Stewart. Years ago I was going through a tough time, divorce, relocation, young kids, reduced income, and I watched her show. She said get some ‘ fabulous’ dishes……thrift shops, anywhere. If you can only eat a tuna sandwich, having it on a beautiful china plate, not a paper plate, will make it seem special. I started doing that. As my life improved I followed her suggestions. I set my dining room table for each season. My everyday dishes are English porcelain. There’s something special about having your morning coffee in a $50 cup. My hubby fails to see the joy! When we have sleep over guests, I place their clean linens on the bed corner wrapped with a pretty ribbon. Little things that make an otherwise dull experience seem special. I also started cooking as she does. Quality pots and pans and good ingredients and attention to detail. My sister says I’m a poor man’s version of Martha Stewart. I’m flattered.

I’m a fan, but my goodness, it’s gorgeous because she’s extremely wealthy. I’m a gardener, just seeing her shrubbery covered so beautifully for the winter made me jealous. It costs money, time and energy to do that properly….she has people do that. Oh well, my little 1/4 acre makes me happy.

Do you not understand how things work? When kings had land conquered they were the ones that would be known for that not the military with them. When God does something he sends angels to do it yet it is his hand doing it. In the same sense Martha’s hand was behind every work done by her 50+ workers. They all get paid to do the work she desires. But it is her vision her mind behind her beautiful gardens and home decor.
