Support the farmers … absolutely … but let’s remember that a good portion of the UK are struggling to heat their homes AND buy food (and do not have their own kitchen garden) … so buying from farmers markets / farm shops is not a reality for them. I would prefer a more grounded vlog series that shows how (and if) a couple can buy local farmers produce on a shoestring budget that is comparable to their regular supermarket shop. My weekly shop (Farmers market vs Lidl/Aldi). I also think this would show you both how hard it, thus giving you another perspective to think about!!

@@livinginthealgarveportugal3357 I am happy to enjoy their escapism … but when they are actively telling people to “buy from farm shops” and “support local businesses” … I feel they should try to do this on an average weekly salary before campaigning so strongly for it. Happy to watch them do it … not happy to have it pushed down my throat when it isn’t reality for over 50% of the British public!! Merry Christmas to you also x

Literally could not agree with you more and glad to see push back on this rather than the sycophantic gushing from others. It demonstrates such a lack of connection to the dire reality so many are facing. I get closer and closer to simply not watching anymore. And promoting local and criticising “things made in China” and saying they’re not setting foot in a supermarket but working with Amazon (and ordering from Ocado), I mean there isn’t even consistency there! What is the message?!

I too am lucky enough to live in a state (in the USA) where we have many small organic and some biodynamic farmers. While I don't eat meat most of my friends do and I know that I can get grass-fed, organic beef and pork from the local dairy and chicken from another farm. I grow what I can in the summer and support my neighbors for the remainder of my food. Thanks for raising awareness! Blessings to you both and to the sausages!!!

With Brexit thats still not completed properly and brought importing and exporting to its knees in British industry and manufacturing not just farming , so the knock on effect has arrived with lots of Industrial manufacturers in the uk have now had to relocate to other countries due to the exporting and importing back ups and high costs ,. it affected also the food industry and made it impossible to do business here , resulting in job looses and loss of revenue here destroying this country .Stupidly Brexit was voted for by a promise for more money for the NHS on a bus , which most of us knew was a Lie and never happened and this government can tell us any old clap trap with no come back , they should all be in prison as only back their mates large industries as they have been exposed time and time again !!! FOR an idea like Brexit to work all British industry we have lost, needed to be put back in place FIRST , so we could be an island again and support ourselves . Charlie loves the sound of his voice but at times needs to be careful with his process and look at this from more angles , and continue his education and research to get a more rounded picture than playing at the country life with the cotswold set who are stacked with money ,when its sheer hard graft and poverty striving at every level in farming , to be fair to him I think he does realise this . Nice romantic ideas with an all organic wholesome approach however the reality on the ground floor is this ,,, these farmers have to use pesticides/ not free range rearing to produce a big enough yield to get a decent pay out just to keep their heads above water . Farming on the organic cotswold level is a luxury only reserved for the elite very wealthy farmers . What would interest me more would be researching into how people could organically eat / farm / shop on a budget , as out of the cotswolds we have an iconic downturn in the rest of the uk away from Daylesford and Bamford where horror of horror people are having to shop in Lidyl and buy chemical pumped chickens as thats all they can afford !!! Tim Spectre forgot one thing ... yeast is a major cause of inflammation and disease in the body .. this paper wont come out from being published but has been written by a biochemist I know , as again all boils down to money .... the mass bakers and brewers would sue !!

Yes! So true. The other day I was at my local Independent New England grocery store chain, they had a gallon of "organic" milk. Their label and priced considerably less than all the rest. It seemed highly questionable, I opted for an authentic organic brand instead, not totaly "local", but trustworthy. We must be ever vigilant ! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you ! xo @@missybelmont9830

I know you both said, you wouldn’t move but - could you imagine the farm you could have, save land, produce the best meat…… what a dream ❤like Miss Potter, how her land is protected. ❤

Or....maybe just buy a plot of land locally in addition for all that...❤

Ohhh those cheeses yummy Josie you remind me so much of my late big sister who unfortunately didn't win a battle with CF. We used to have fun dress ups and glam time together but now I get the girlie glam fix from watching you in all your lovely clothes, coats, dresses and make up!! Merry Christmas to you Charlie and your squishable mumma. ⭐🌲😘🇦🇺

Sending well wishes to you and your family, I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I had to leave a comment as I have personal experience in my life with CF and know what a tough illness it is. ❤ Happy new year to you!

Just providing a hopefully helpful design tip. The bedroom layout is a bit off and not a functional camera positioning. There is a daybed chaise at the foot of the bed that is not working well, it is not in scale with the headboard or height of the bed and crowds the depth of the room. It’s otherwise a nice furnishing piece in a lovely velvet fabric but needs to be correctly placed elsewhere.

I want to suggest that if the small couch in your bedroom doesn’t sell then you could put it inside Strawtop 2.

Josie, I love the intro! Would you please do a video of the front of your house and the area. Also I miss how you would model in front of the beautiful area showing your stairs and wall antique mirror. I want to say really enjoy when you show more of your absolutely beautiful house! Merry Christmas!

Hmmmm….definitely planted a seed…I will have to do some additional gardening perhaps in May…things should be popping up by then. Might even get my kids and grand baby involved. Will just have to plan out whether or not I want mostly white, blue, or possibly pink colors in the garden. 😉

C’est fallacieux d’ecrire que vous déjeunez avec le roi Charles 😢😢😢 . Ce ne n’est pas la première fois que vous mettez des titres de ce genre ...😢😢😢😢
