How crazy it is that I have never missed an episode of vlog from Josie for years! I’m not even kidding, this is the only channel with an hour long vlog that I watch beginning to end and time just goes by so fast ! Watching from Africa (Lesotho 🇱🇸) with so much love ❤️. Now let’s get comfy and enjoy the autumn vibes with Josie ( even though here we are in spring 😅)

Vlogmas 2022 intro still has me 😭🥰It truly gets the eternal romantic in me, you and Charlie, the gorgeous doggies and esp. when you on the ladder and Charlie's hand guarding you and the candle blowing out at the end..... Josie, your vlogs are pure escapism for me. This will be needed more than ever right now from across the pond. The farmer's written piece was poignant and appreciated. I appreciate your vlogs because though they are pure luxury lifestyle focused, there are many ideas beyond the "stuff" I enjoy. I started pressing flowers, for instance! So fun. Thank you Josie for all of your work.

Pretty fireworks, bonfire night was a lot warmer this year than it sometimes is! It’s crazy to me that you say you’ve got far too many knitted dresses but you won’t be able to resist buying more this year! 🙈You have more clothes than you could ever need in a lifetime, in two lifetimes - ever thought of just doing ‘shop my wardrobe’ instead for say 12 months, there must be loads in your wardrobe your viewers have never seen! You have a wide variety of content now it’s not just a fashion channel so you can still entertain everyone 😃. Sustainability and use what you have should be the future - for all of us 😄 x

Disgraceful what Labour have done to British farming . They have forgotten that farmers are asset rich and cash poor , if you have a £10,000 car that you use to go about your business, you don’t have £10,000 in the bank . Well it’s exactly the same , if you have a farm worth 4 million ( remember it is the land that is worth the money , which you will never sell ) , it’s what you use for your livelihood. A 4 million pound farm will lead now to inheritance tax of £600,000 ( fine if you intend to sell but farmers don’t sell , they pass down ) . My extended family ( I am not in farming ) , will be forced to sell after 200 plus years if this happens! Make way for more processed food and the early death of more people . Thank you Josie for highlighting this , you and Charlie are fantastic champions of farming and rural communities! ❤X

Also, would you mind showing more of your home? I feel like I haven't seen the snug in forever. I'd love a full detailed tour of interior and decor I really liked your content last year. Dear Josie, as a farmer’s daughter (and a farmer’s sister) I just want to thank you SO MUCH for your support for family farms - which means so much 🙏Our family farm is not large, and has been in the family since 1860. The value of the land may be a lot, but that would never be realised as it’s passed down through the generations. The land is used to grow food - no one is getting rich from that but it’s vital that the U.K. grows its own food. My dad is in his mid 80’s and not well - so this policy change is felt keenly by us. I don’t know if you’re aware but one elderly farmer has already committed suicide due to this - to try to prevent his farm having to be sold to pay the tax. So upsetting. Many farmers have a deep emotional connection to their land. It’s so so sad. And who will buy these farms? Big corporations who will sell them for building, or warehouses, or energy projects. Thank you for your support - it’s massively appreciated 💗💚🧡x

You're right to voice your opinions Josie. Best to have an opinion which you are knowledgeable about Josie, probably more than you actually think, than to have no opinion at all. We support our local dairy farms 🐄 and we've just found an online farm shop for veg that yes is a little more pricey then the supermarket but not by much and it has to be said it's lasted longer than what we used to buy from the supermarket. It's tastier and we've had less tummy problems. We've had milk from the milkman for the past 6 years, so imagine how much plastic we've saved from going to landfill or recycling...that's if it actually gets recycled 😕 ...but I do appreciate that not everyone can do this for many reasons. Much love as always darling ❤

Hi Josie, About the “farmers poem” same thing happened in my country long time ago,and I am sure in many countries. Foreigners came and bought our land because small or big farmers were not allowed this and that, or too many regulations but that was just political . We actually export our grains and then buy the flour from the outside , doubled the price, just because people are corupt… still in 2024 and there is nothing you can do. And yes, our children had to go work in other countries

Long time viewer, love the channel, but have to say, just watching how your dressing room is overflowing with so much clothes that you don't even wear was a bit sad , seeing you struggling trying to shove things in. I know it is part of your job, but I am sure you can do better especially as the sustainability is one of your favourite topic, that is not only related to the food industry.You might benefit perhaps from someone professional to assist you with organising your wardrobe to have more clear overview of what you have and really wear, and utilise this beautiful wardrobe you have more efficiently. Anyway, I really mean well, hopefully you don't take the wrong way. Best

Happy for you and Charlie as I can see why the Bamford partnership is a natural fit for your vlogs. But (!) - Daylesford is a massively overpriced store, and the quality often doesn’t match the prices. The restaurants are fairly mediocre and the Homeware is surprisingly unexciting. The Bamford’s are also huge donors to the Conservatives, big fans of Boris Johnson whose time in Govt was massively toxic for the U.K., and perhaps worst of all: huge backers of Brexit. So ethically Bamford’s is - frankly - pants. They may sell a lot of organic products but their prices mean they don’t actually do much good on this front as they are more elitist than they are ethical. Just my opinion - and I don’t judge you for your involvement as I quite understand your reasons. To be honest I do call in there myself when in the area (despite my better judgement!😂). Love the vlog as always though Josie! 💗x

Thank you for your wholesome videos. Side notes about Bonfire celebration, name Bonfire celebration because the king put them into a Bonfire . The catholics tried to kill the king, who was prosecuting to those still loyal to the church founded by Christ (Catholics) and not the one founded by the king itself (namely Anglicans/church of England, not protestants). Certainly, I do not agree with any violence from any of both sides, but things need to be clarified correctly. That is why I find the celebration rotten and macabre .

Yes, the new government budget will harm those that England needs the most--FARMERS. It also bites small business owners, anyone inheriting anything etc. Only those who hardly pay any (if any) taxes and don't know hard graft that won't feel it. I am Canadian, but followed the election and cannot believe Labour got in. Still shaking my head. Hopefully most can somehow rise above it, or get them out of office asap.
@danadpt20122 сағат бұрын
We need to wait and see what labour will continue to do. The tories were abhorrent and destroying the country, except the areas they lived in. Labour got in For a reason. Time will tell how this actually affects British farming. Personally I would like all uk supermarkets to buy British first and fairly before buying from Europe. The supermarkets are in control of the farmers and this has to stop.
@Laura-g1c1lСағат бұрын
@@danadpt2012 If you inherit a farm now, and want to be continued to be farmed, you would have to sell said farm in order to pay the inheritance tax...then you wouldn't be able to farm. So the farm gets sold, another farmer can never afford to buy it, it gets sold to a developer and so on and so on. I agree the Tories didn't do much better, but this budget will decimate farmers.
