Hi ya I have experienced all the afternoon teas in London Ritz , The Goring , Harrods, Browns, Claridges etc But my favourite is The Dorchester Christmas in the Promenade.I was quiet emotional when the choir boys arrived and sang .Such a beautiful atmosphere.The service was exceptional, with your own butler who explained all the teas , jams etc .A very memorable event .We had friends over from America and I wanted to treat them to a London experience,it made me so proud to be British and have these traditions.

I loved the Ritz but it was tight but the service was impeccable and too much food so had to take it home but is iconic and everything was clean and well presented. There is a glamour there that is timeless. I hear the Christmas tree is amazing too.

I know exactly what you mean about the Ritz. It’s very similar to Fortnum and Mason in the sense that it’s a very transactional afternoon tea. They are so busy and so popular that the magic is just not there anymore. Very transactional.

Hi Lydia I was just watching you most recent you tube video and you mentioned that one of your puppies eats the other dogs food. We had this issue with our cats and we now use the sure feed microchip bowls. They close and open when the cats put their heads under the sensor. It reads their microchip and if it’s the right chip it opens, if not it stays closed. Not sure if they would be big enough for sausage dog food but thought it might help.
