So wonderful, quick and easy! My sewing machine came along just three days before and I'm waiting to begin doing all the great and little things I can do with my old jeans and T - shirts l left in an old box to sew when time's coming! Thank you so much for this relative easy way to make me proud to try a new hobby! When I was a teen l got a new Rikka but it always broke their needles. So after a while I let it be until now there was an extreme good price for a singer brilliance 6180. I immediately had to buy it remembering all the things I wanted to sew in my life. yes, you could do this with regular fabric but it won't be as sturdy. You would want to use layered regular fabric with some interfacing to stiffen it up a bit so it will stand nicely in your purse.

The larger one is 13 x 13 and then the pocket strip is 12 x 6 (its only a little bit bigger but it catches on the zipper of my purse so I had to make one a little smaller for my shorter purses. If you have a large purse, just make the base bigger and make sure not to make the pocket strip too tall otherwise it would be hard to get your items out of the pockets. Thanks for watching ! Just an inexpensive felt by the yard from Joann Fabrics. Its not the low quality craft felt that you find in the crafting isle that comes in precut squares.
